Hi Guy's

I was just reading about the signs ofthe zodiac ushering in new seasons...eg Pisces bringing in spring.
This is true for the Northern hemisphere . Though Pisces is the begining of Autum here?? does this have a different interpretation or significance??
Is there some other meaning??

I hope I have made sense!

Well, the symbology was thought up by people in the Northern Hemisphere...maybe it should just be taken as that - as symbology that fits in w/ the cycles up here; it might not effect how ya'll view it down there.

I've always wondered how that works, that when we're having autumn, the southern hemisphere is having spring, our winter is their summer...I though it had to do with how much further away from the sun the earth is, which would effect the whole planet. I don't get it.
Because, as you know, the earth's orbit isn't perfectly round around the sun, but more of an oval shape, or eliptical. So when it's in ephelion (furthest away from the sun), it's colder, and when it's in perhelion (closest to the sun)it's warmer.

At least that's what I thought, but I guess not. Tell me how that works, anybody?
