I have been using Chiron as the "new" ruler for Virgo for several years--in many chart readings. It works well. In fact, it is quite evident that some Virgo clients are making the shift from the old rulership to the new.A major reason for my choice is that Virgo has always been "hands-on", the capacity to handle things. "Chiron" is very similar to such "hand" words as Chiropract/body adjustment by hand, Chiromancy/palmistry, and Chiropody/reflexology. You can read more about this in my book "Principles of Astrology" which includes Chiron as the sixth principle. ------------------ You are a blessing and you are blessed. Rev. peace -What connections have you picked up on between Virgo/Chiron/Vulcan? Rev. Alice -
Discussions have been out there for a while regarding the connection between Chiron/Virgo. Brave maverick, you are, to go ahead and practice with them fully intact. It's interesting that some of the Virgo clients, (emphasis on VIRGO), are making a "shift". Would love to know of any experiences with that. You are so right about the "hands-on" keywords. Virgo's have been such underdogs in the Zodiac for so long. Maybe you'll shed some healing light on them as well. (Venus Conjunct Pluto in Virgo in the 4th)

Vesta-goddess of the hearth fire and sexuality, sexual abstinence,nun,priest2 signs Vesta is under:Virgo & Scorpio Chiron-the wounded healer. I agree with Rev. Alice on this one. Vulcan-god of fire, his personailty was kind and peace-loving(your typical Virgo) Some relations to Vesta.Maybe Vesta is the Virgo female, and Vulcan is the Virgo male?. Just my assumption.I remember Spock in one of the Star Trek epiosodes crying "Pain!,Pain!".Maybe that's where Chiron enters the picture. IP: Logged |

Oh OK ... that's interesting. And what about Vesta being under Virgo & Scorpio. Somehow this sounds familiar, but please remind me. Thanks. ------------------ ... it's better to light a candle than curse the darkness IP: Logged |

im also interested in Vesta Virgo/scorp thingAlso I rcently discovered some interesting aspects of vesta in my chart (thanks too AcousticGd) Vesta Trine Moon: The harmonious aspects (conjunction, sextile and trine) can give an instinctive ability to focus (as contrasted with the conscious, direct focusing ability of Sun-Vesta aspects). Vesta Opposition Neptune: The stressful aspects (square and opposition) can make concentration on ordinary tasks more difficult. Vesta Conjunct Ascendant: The harmonious aspects (conjunction, sextile and trine) make it easier to focus in general (particularly the conjunction). So I can concentrate...but not on ordinary tasks. How strange. which is very fitting on me i can concentrate perfectly on everything, but sometimes i cant concentate on things that matter. Vulcan-god of fire, his personailty was kind and peace-loving(your typical Virgo) <--- on this one I dont agree, i remmember vulcan wasnt harmonious. and also thwere is a great website about vulcan and astrology http://www.lovestarz.com/vulcan.html
