So I have been re-applying myself to my chart, to understand the details specific to me......intercepted houses confuse me.I assume that all charts have intercepted houses, but when I look at mine, my Leo and Aquarius houses are totally encapsulated within the houses....they arent within the cusp, as I have learned from definition. Does this matter? The other signs around them border them with the house. Its probably a dumb question, but can anyone help? Thanks!!

Can you post your birthdata, or chart? It would help. I know that the energies are felt in both houses, for example Venus in the 4th and 5th would be felt more in the 4th early in life and gradually more in the 5th.Does that help? Natasha Taurus IP: Logged |

What you have is an interception. You can find some of my writings on Interceptions in the archives. Also check my website, and the books available there.------------------ You are a blessing and you are blessed. Rev. Alice www.lifeprints-for-living.com IP: Logged |

Intercepted Houses occur in most House systems, because the Ascendant is independant of the signs. Having one house completely bracked by other houses within a sign depends on where you were born in relationship to the equator. Some houses will have less than 30 degrees. This is one reason I use the equal house system, where each house is 30 degrees regardless of where you were born.Hope that that made some sense. Lanny IP: Logged |

Thanks for all the input everyone- I think I am getting a clearer (is that a word?) image of what these houses mean....Lanny, do you run an astro advice board out there in the wide wired world? I was googling myself into fits the other day, and I saw your nick, and it sounded like you. You are really good!! Amazing and concise, if I may flatter you some more...... Natasha, I think I will try to learn more with some research, as everyone here has suggested, altho I appreciate the offer. Perhaps my S-elf is saying "hold on, learn all your aspects FIRST before you start jumping into the intricacies of the whole." Actually, I just suck at the copy/paste thing. Especially pictures. Thanks for all the help. MK IP: Logged |

Whoa.....if I pull up my chart using the equal house system, it really moves my planets around...Pluto jumps into my 11th, and my Moon meanders into the 12th. Interesting....MK IP: Logged |
