Mind is the builder...we create our own outlook, our own reality...it's easy for me to get stuck in a rut too- I just try to visualize positive change in my life everyday. If something is really bothering me, I try to resolve it in my mind, by imagining a specific outcome. I find it relieves a lot of my stress and makes me feel more empowered.

With our Gemini Sun we have an intelligent mind that thrives on information and communication. Our receptive and feeling Pisces Moon gives us deep sensitivity and blesses us with an intrinsic spirituality. However, our gift can also be our issue- our sun/moon combo can give us a tendency to try to rationalize our feelings, which can lead to more anxiety and and feelings of hopelessness.

Our challenge is learning how to balance our two sides...which can be overwhelming!

Nice to meet you! I'm a gemini too, infact by looking at your birthday I see you were born 3 days before me.

Just wanted to let you know that I feel for ya....I'm pretty depressed myself...have been for as long as I can remember. My father is also a gemini with a pisces moon, and suffers from the same sort of problems.

I don't really know what the answer is...i don't think there is one universal, sadly enough. For me it's taken alot of thinking and soul searching, and as cliche as it is writing. Even if it's just a long ramble, i found that it helps. If you don't feel like there's anyone to talk to, take a long walk and ramble to yourself. Heh, people i'd wander past thought i was nuts(maybe they're right) but in the end I did feel better.

We geminis' have some great qualities. We're funny, smart, and creative people. We're not heartless, as we sometimes get called....we just apply alittle more thought to emotions. There's nothing wrong with being objective....but it really does hurt when people call you "cold hearted" or attach worse things to that phrase. Heh, heh I get that one alot.
Plus, we're great problem solvers, and conflict resovers, due to the tons of thinking and seeing both sides of the issuse. People come to me when they want things sorted out, or to help them understand....it's a pretty good feeling to know that you can help someone.

Hang in there Bill, I don't know how, or when, but it will get better.....it always seems to. And I hope things start looking up soon for you.

Also...Happy Belated Birthday!!

There is some very sound advice among these posts, very accurate. Take it from a Gemini Sun/Pisces Rising lady, lol. Also, my older daughter is a Gemini Sun/Pisces Moon (a few years younger than you) so I really do understand where you're coming from. On top of it all...as NeptunesLittleGem said...it doesn't help if we're wrongly accused of being cold/players...whatever. It hurts being so misunderstood; and when we're misread by others it can lead to more confusion for us.

As pixelpixie pointed out, having the Aqua/fixed Ascendant will help anchor your mutable Sun/Moon. I have a fixed Moon amidst my mutables, my daughter has a fixed Ascendant. Personally, I feel the fixed influence keeps us grounded...and aids us in integrating our natures...it's been true in my case anyway.

WHAT'S IMPORTANT is to realize that, as it's been said several times here already...you always have a choice. Don't compare yourself to anyone but yourself...in other words, are you growing? Are you learning? Are you using your gifts in ways that help others as well as yourself? It's the reason we're all here anyway. We Gems just add our own flavor to the mix, as all the signs do. There's a need for each of us in all our diversities, and we all stand to benefit if we can approach oneanother with a willingness to learn. We're each of us, Students of Life, are we not?
