It is always difficult to reduce a set of ideas to one word, especially since we all have slightly different definitions. What would be a good one-word summation of a sign's qualities for me might be meaningless to you, and vice-versa. Personally, when I look at that list, I see some that ring true for me and others that make no sense. I would expect the same from most people. Only those whose definitions of words are very like those of the person who wrote it are going to benefit much by it. It might be a good exercise for you, though, to read the longer, more detailed sign descriptions and try to come up with your own one-word summation.IP: Logged |

That was very insightful, paras. Thank you.I've read loads about signs. I'm trying to expand my knowledge of the planets. I've been stuck on trying to understand the angles and such... but it's much like Trig. I'm a bright gal, but English was my subject in school. I barely scraped by in math. I did alright (Bs and Cs) up to Algebra 3/4, but after that it went down hill. I was frustrated and lost. I tried really hard, so I got passing grades in the subsequent classes, but I didn't "get it". So, basically... I'm trying to move past that aspect and learn about other things that don't challenge me as much. I'll come back to angles later once I have a better understanding of the planets. Hopefully, once I have a better understanding of the planets, somehow the math will click for me and make more sense. IP: Logged |

So I can explain whatever basic concept you do not understand by making it analogous to how a puter works. Start with basics first, and get a good foundation.IP: Logged |

Well, it's a good link in terms of keeping the language and structure of the site simple. Some other sites are good too, but astrologer may go off on some scholastic rant, and then you're left in the dust again. Or the site was put together by someone over the age of 50.And you know, some things are going to draw you in more when you get into it. Astrology is not afraid of skepticism or hard core non-believers. IP: Logged |
