Geminis are known to like all forms of communication: books, computers, cell phones, pillow talk. Some can be very artistic, but all are highly expressive, in a cerebral way. Emotions can confuse Geminis easily, so they prefer light-hearted conversations until they get to know someone well. Most Geminis like to have a wide variety of experiences - the "same old thing" won't cut it with them. Geminis only rely on routine when they feel insecure.

Gemini is generally a care-free and friendly sort that are attracted to people that are interesting, fun and won't weigh them down with heavy emotional expectations, boring routines, or pessimism. It's positive attributes can include being cheerful, optimistic, fast-thinking, original, inventive, witty, charming, flexible, adaptive, seeking out knowledge, being an effective teacher or speaker and not overly materialistic or possessive of people or things. Its negative attributes can include intellectual arrogance, impulsiveness, cynicism, emotion shallowness, too noncommittal, too indifferent to other's feelings, gossiping, lying and other forms of manipulation through distortions of knowledge or information, and just genreally thinking they're more clever than everyone else. As I like to say, "All Gemini think they're smart, but not all are."

Gemini get a bad rep for being cheaters, liars, flirts, and commitment phobies - none of these are standard, but can happen in some Gemini indiviudals. Geminis aren't the most introspective people around, so often they do things impulsively, but won't know why until they're in therapy 10 years later. They are high-strung, energetic people prone to nervous conditions, anxiety, and related health problems, including asthma and headaches. They also has a great need for mental stimulation, and can become depressed without it.

I know that the sun is "just" another planet in the horoscope--but you have SO hit on my personality, I felt like you were describing me from first hand experience!

I'm sure I've P*ssed off some people in the chat room because I find it hard to keep things on a VERY serious deep level, even if I'm talking deep and serious, I still feel the need to crack jokes and lighten the atmosphere so that it is bearable. I've noticed lately that this is not always appreciated...*shrug*
