Second house is also the house of money. Mars being the way in which your work ethic influences the earning of your money. Virgo is slow, meticulous, informed and exacting. Consider ways to earn your money by building it up through means like investments that you've researched. Check out 401Ks at work. With Mars in Virgo in the second house youmay tend to work hard.
Mars also affects sexuality - being that it is in Virgo there may be perfectionism or prudish behavior -- Virgo can be very passionate, but may be overly cautious and critical.
