I have started recently learning about astrology with Linda's book "Relationship Signs", but finding it somewhat confusing because of some printing mistakes in the book. I need some help.IP: Logged |

Welcome to Lindaland agmunish! As a newbie myself I can't offer much help but have you read Linda's "Sun Signs" and "Love Signs" yet? If not either one of those books would be the best to start off with, "Sun Signs" especially since it tells one how to recognize each sign and then goes into detail about the sign, female version, male version, children etc. I just bought "Relationship Signs" myself and I was a bit disappointed, it didn't seem to have the same warmth as Linda's previous works. Hope this little tidbit helped! Good luck! IP: Logged |

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I understand Relationship Signs was unfinished at the time of Linda's death and was finished by "Crystal" (I'm looking at the dedications of my copy)... For a long time, I was really snobby about this book, one of my friends bought it and I read a page and knew straight away that Linda didn't write it (not sure if I was aware of her death at the time, but I remember getting all haughty about this "fake Linda book!")... but it's actually a really lovely beginners guide to synastry. Now that I've gotten over my huffy Linda snobbism and given it a chance My copy also has some wierd typos, but if you really concentrate and follow the instructions in the beginning of the book, it should start you off to figuring out synastry. Incidently, my very non-astrological friend that bought the book years ago hates it because she "doesn't get it"... But if you're passionate about astrology, you'll probably like it if you give it a chance. agmunish, what is it specifically that you're finding confusing? IP: Logged |

Aquarian Girl, I'm fairly certain your correct about Relationship Signs being unfinished at the time of Linda's death...I just wish that Linda had finished it and/or made it clear that the book was co authored by "Crystal" because the book definitely lacks the bits of charm and warmth Linda had in her previous works. I am definitely semi-snobby about it, hehe. IP: Logged |

I dont mind the book. It has ok interpretations though I don't agree with them puting square/opp and trine/sextile in the same bucket. What annoys me is that its called "LINDA GOODMAN - Relationship Signs"...she didn't write it...that's not fair. I mean sure she must've had notes or maybe she started the book or whatever and I'm sure those notes were used cause there are bits and pieces that sound like her, but all in all she didnt write it. It should be called something else like "In memory of Linda Goodman"..something that makes it clear she didnt write it, cause a lot of people read that and think she did. They only put the current title on so it sells obviously...I find it disrespectful to Linda. She's written some really intelligent, interesting, captivating, enlightning books and she shouldn't have her name on something that isnt really hers and that I don't find half as good as other things she's written (mainly because Linda really put a lot of effort in every book..Relationsip Signs seems a bit effort-less..they didnt even try...they could've at least had diff paragraphs for DIFF aspects) IP: Logged |

Hi Aquarian Girl and Lauren Liege,If you see Maria's relationship chart on page 39, the entries in House no 8 should come in House no 9. And further You should have knowledge of all the combinations of the planets means 10x10 combinations to interpret a relationship. What do you think? IP: Logged |

At first look the book really seems confused. But you have to share more time with it and you will understand all charts. The book differs from other Linda Goodmans' books. It is more schematic and you really have to be into astrology to began learning with this book. So, Agmunish I keep to Lauren Leigh. Probably you have to start with the other Lindas' books or with other wich are for beginners in this field.Wish you luck, and WELLCOME! ------------------

Hi Windy,I have already read "Sun signs" by same author. But there is no direct relation between "Sun signs" and "Relationship Signs". IP: Logged |

welcome agmunish! I agree that the styles are very different and they don't even seem related. Try Love signs, which is my personal favorite. Although I think the Gem-Leo relationship stuff in there has fallen out completely in my experience But its a great great book! IP: Logged |
