I posted this in Yellow Wax, but someone suggested I share it here as well. ---------------------------------------
Venus sat there pensive
Simply
Asking for nothing
swearing everything
Uranus wandered around
spotted all flutters
out of the corner of his eyes
followed them with wonder,
knowing where he would come back to
Neptune shined
twinkled for a moment
distracting fate and all that was written
The moon waxed and waned,
pulling in the weeping tide
then releasing her to the sun
Mercury meant to relay the message,
but was held up by Mars
who asked again and again
for rhyme or reason
Jupiter begged for answers from Saturn
who grinned with delight and disgust
waiting for Chiron to come and save them all
So Venus left,
deeply hurt by Uranuses apparent indifference
He was left again bewildered by Neptune's dissapearance into the waves
That the sun swallowed
and the moon pitied
While Mercury stayed silent
and Mars ran ahead to catch Jupiter
trying to explain
to stop the pain Saturn would laugh at
and Chiron would be left to clear up
... while Venus ate grapes and groomed herself
Uranus wept
