Recently I came across this: Mystic Trine- trine divided by a planet making a quintile to the planet of the trine and a septile to the other. While I have heard of the Mystic Rectangle and have one in my chart, I have not heard of the Trine. I googled it to see examples (having difficulty visualizing it ) I came up bare. Any one seen examples? If you could post it would be great. It is supposed to be very fortunate. Thoughts? TY NodeIP: Logged |

Hi Node ~You always come up with the most fascinating discoveries!! Have never heard of a Mystic Trine before….. I have something close, but no cigar – Uranus trine Mercury, with Venus 48 degrees from Mercury and 70 degrees from Uranus….. since this probably qualifies as a minor aspect, I wouldn’t give the orb more than 2 degrees, if that….. Zala PS: Do you have a solar return coming up soon?? IP: Logged |

Zala your such a sweetie I posted this question on the Astro-D forum and someone with a program posted a chart, but.... there is no grid on it. And I suspect her orb is too wide. Your right about orbs, especially with a Septile I would go with 1+ degree only I love the aspect discriptions in the site above for the positive tone. The interpretations are not just a re-wording of pop-astrology writing. Even the challenging aspects are worded in such a way as as to turn the so called negative energy into spiritual growth. And your right, my SR is next Wed. IP: Logged |

I have one of these babies, with the trine just barely within that site's recommended orb. (It has a 3º30' orb.)Venus trine Jupiter, with Uranus (in the 1st house) forming a quintile with Jupiter (10th house) & a septile with Venus (3rd house). The quintile's orb is just over 1º; the septile's is just under 1º. The link provided this description for a mystic trine: quote: The mystic trine is another quite similar pattern, where a trine is divided by a planet making a quintile to one planet of the trine and a septile to the other. This is an exceptionally fortunate pattern, because the natural ease of the trine is enhanced with the remarkable creativity and talent of the quintile, and charged with the sense of destiny or divine purpose implied by the septile. There is an indication of great potential for creativity, growth and accomplishment within this pattern.
For those of you interested in checking if you have one, but too lazy to click on the link , a septile is 51º30' and a quintile is 72º. The orb should be under 2º. IP: Logged |
