Does anyone else out there know someone with a Fire Moon and Water Ascendant? Someone with a prominant Fire sign (any major influence) and a water Moon perhaps?
Basically, do you know anyone who's prominant outer Fire-ness is hiding their inner sensitivity?Now I don't want to sound like a psycho-analyst lol  , but I've found out, that just when I thought a knew someone, I've only just seen this other side which makes my heart completely go out to them. They have what seems to be a prominant Fire Moon or some other influence as well (can't remember!) and a Water Ascendant and Pisces is Venus and Mars. It's bizarrely touching and unusual because I now think of them slightly differently since they've shown these traits...
Anyone know of something similar?
Anyone know the opposite-
someone they thought was really sensitive and sweet with a hidden firey temper? IP: Logged |

I know a lot of fire sign men with water moons who act extremely macho. It always surprises me when I do their chart and find a water moon. I know a couple of leo/scorps..one leo/pisces and two aries/cancers. They all act overly tough. The Leo/pisces guy and one of the Aries/Cancer guys won't even say happy birthday to people in their close familly or give them a hug or anything. They act so detached, disinterested..have nothing nice to say. one of the Leo/Scorp guys went on a huge rant about how gay it is for guys to dance once  They all seem very scared of showing any kind of emotion and try very hard to seem tough..I don't like this and it makes me uncomfortable. But I have no idea whether they actually have that hidden sensitivity or not. I've never seen it. I'd like to think it's there lol.. with water moons and all IP: Logged |

Hey MNF - To answer your question, I'm a water Sun, fire Moon, and water ascendant (Cancer/Sag/Cancer). Sun and Mars in 1st House. So I'm one of the mixes you're talking about. Either I'm tough, and sweet when you get to know me, or the other way around. It actually really depends on people's initial perceptions and impressions. I personally know that with me, what you see is what you get. When I'm feeling 'soft', there's nothing to hide, I'll choose to experience it. When I'm peeved off or detached, you'll know about it. Every moment, every mood, and most sensitivities are not deliberately hidden. The complexes that that forms aren't worth the trouble. On a social level, the feedback I get from people usually is that I'm usually somewhat more tough, but generally 'well-balanced' when I let my passions be known. Cancer is supposed to be the sign of the person who acts tough on the outside, but has a soft core. Well if Cancer is your Ascendant, too, then what are you?  A toughie, hiding a softie, hiding a toughie....arrrgghh, I'll just say it cancels each other out nicely. I think an opposing element in your moon and sun really adds a good balance. And don't make a habit of seeing people differently when you know their signs either, thinking that if an Aquarius has a Pisces Sun, you are somehow onto him or her...because the strengths in the 'softer' signs, as well as the weaknesses in the 'tougher' ones will always, always amaze you. Fire signs are very sensitive by nature. We often don't think of them like that, but they are. They are very emotion-driven and are easily encouraged or discourage by those around them or by circumstances in their life and environment. It's just we seems their firey willfulness first and don't think to think there's more there. IP: Logged |

I have a fire Sun and Moon and an Earth Ascendant...And my Venus is in a water sign. I wouldn't exactly call myself sensitive, though.IP: Logged | |
