When you get your chart on astro.com, does anybody ever have problems when it comes to moon?It said my moon was libra, but a book says it's scorpio. It was also that way for a few other people I entered. So now I'm not sure if the book I got my chart from is wrong or if the website is wrong..? IP: Logged |

For some reason, astro.com kind of does the same thing on my subjects etc., like it's a little off or something...it says my seond house is ruled by leo and eighth by aqua when other sources always say otherwise (they're ruled by virgo and pisces) and it also rules in favor of libra IC/Aries MC just because they're a degree or two off from other sources. It's kinda weird. I think I also read on some other site that astro.com's orbs tend to be a little off or something, thus advising to adjust to them a bit... I mean it kind of depends too on how close your planets are to house cusps (with your whole moon thing). My mercury placement varies on different sources. Some say it's in the 7th, some the eighth, and the same goes for my venus which could be counted as either in the 8th or 9th. ------------------ Who wouldn't be the one you love and live for Who wouldn't stand inside your love and die for Who wouldn't be the one you love -BC IP: Logged |

grl,You asked: quote: ...astro.com, does anybody ever have problems...It said my moon was libra, but a book says it's scorpio...
Astrodienst (astro.com) uses the actual position of the Moon for its calculations, while ephemerides (astrology books) use the position of the moon at a specific time of the day. As a result, the accurate answer from Astrodienst differs with the approximate answer given in the books. Explaining, Tim IP: Logged | |
