Finally.Mars Direct on Friday, December 9th. Chiron re-enters Aquarius on Monday, December 5th. With the Sun in Sagittarius, our focus shifts from the need for an intimate connection with a person and with ourselves, to the desire to reach out to the world and connect with something larger than ourselves. While the Sun moves through this fiery, mutable sign, we can take steps to increase our understanding and awareness of the world around us. We are more able to muster up the courage to expand our horizons and branch out into new ways of thinking. We can gain more confidence and optimism by focusing on the "big picture" as we move away from our focus on the details of mundane existence. Although we may be prone to overdoing our expectations, we have the opportunity to nurture our faith, hope, and vision under this influence. Mars turns direct on Friday after over two months of retrograde motion. The drains of energy, frustrated plans, sluggishness, and stagnation that this cycle has brought begins to lift. As it moves forward, it will cover the same section of sky that it has already revisited, from 8 degrees Taurus to 23 degrees Taurus, allowing us to revisit and redo the aspects that it formed. Mars leaves its shadow zone on February 3rd. Mars turned retrograde at a time when it was part of a yod configuration with Jupiter and Pluto, and when Venus opposed it almost exactly. With Venus opposite Mars and Mars inconjunct both Jupiter and Pluto, the configuration formed is a little more complex. This is a powerful configuration, and those people with personal planets found at any of its points (perhaps especially 23 Taurus and 23 Scorpio) are [were] bound to find the beginning of October especially busy and perhaps crisis-oriented. Health issues may be a factor (especially in areas ruled by Taurus and Scorpio—the throat and sexual organs), and accidents a possibility. Avoid pushing matters or throwing yourself into something new.

Thank God! I need Mars to fire for me all the time and this retrogade period has been just awful.------------------

after weeks of feeling far less than positive .. in fact the computer screen
was starting to scowl back at me .. that mars retro has felt like it started let up
a few days back .. but today ( it be thurs 8th here at moment ) seems like energy
has switched gear .. .. hard to figure as i've got some outer planetary hassles by
yech type transits ..
taur sun and merc here ...
.. and venus soon to go retro .. mmmmmm .. should make for interesting LL
relationship posts in the near future .. cheers for timely mars info :-)

Thanks so much for this post, the last 2 months have positively sucked. I have had zero motivation to do any work and am now so far over deadline it's a farce. Yesterday I felt motivation for the first time since September (but didn't last more than 1/2 hr). I wondered if Mars was about to turn. Just in time to get onto writing xmas cards. Gawd. Bless xx

I feel like there's finally a light at the end of the tunnel, it's getting closer, and it's *not* an oncoming train!!Energy-wise, I've been feeling better every day this week, like something pent-up is about to burst forth; or like a viscous but invisible cloud surrounding me is finally going to release its claustrophobic clutches and dissipate into the air! Hail Direct! As a Sun-Taurus, Mercury-Taurus, Venus-Taurus Person, I will state again (as in an earlier post) that I feel like a test site for the H-Bomb for the last few months, and all that look better want to touch (mind and or body) or yellow crime scene tape should be errected. Very Positive influence if, you look hard for it. Otherwise I would be but the wicked witch of the west.....I'm meltingggg!IP: Logged |

Thanks a bunch for the info. My VENUS is at 22 Taurus. I have been dead to the world and fighting huge weird fires (both having to do with our children's teachers)...very rare and very odd.I hope to keep my wits about me over the coming weeks.IP: Logged | |
