i had a question, i'm currently looking for a new job. and i'm at this stage in my life where i just honestly don't know what the heck i want to do for a living. most of my previous work experience is in the medical professions. however, i've experienced a lot of loss lately and hospitals, or anything related to the medical industry is the last thing i want to be involved in right now.

i've been applying for all different kinds of jobs, kind of figuring since i'm not clear on what i want maybe the winds of fate will usher me where i need to go.

is there anything i can look up in my chart to give me a clue as to what area i might flurish in career wise?

i've got bunches of stuff in my sixth house of work, but i'm not sure what, if any, significance that has on actual type of career/job...

For career stuff, a lot of people like to look at the placement of the MC (Midheaven or 10th House Cusp).

You look at that Wheel, look at that thick line with the MC at the end of it, and see what Sign it's in. It's in Capricorn, can you see that?

I want to check and see if you have any placements which might infer you having gone into the medical field because you felt it was the "proper" career choice for you ...

OK... I looked and all I can see is HEALER HEALER HEALER !!! ... you know? .... HEALER HEALER ...

I could really see you leaning very easily towards charity work, or lending yourself to a religious cause. It might even go as far as an actual place where people go to. You could easily lead such a venture, but you might be happier being very behind the scenes of another organization. You can always make your move when you are ready.

The 6th house is, as you say, about daily work, and so it is also about our daily routines. These daily routines are frequently something we do for someone or something, so the 6th house is associated with service...things we do for something else. With 4 planets focused in the 6th house (the most of any area in the chart) you like to do things for other people daily...doing some type of service for them.

Since you have Pluto (transformation, also healing) focused in the 6th house (daily work, also service), North node (future goals) focused in the 8th house (transformation, also healing), and Pluto sextile North node; it seems you are moving towards doing healing of some sort. In addition, you have Cancer (home, also nurturing) modifying Saturn (duty, also career), Moon (home, also nurturing) trine both (energy goes very easily with) Mercury (thinking/daily work); indicating a strong urge to nurture as well. Hospital work would seem to go perfectly with this.

There is another dimension to the chart, however. You have Jupiter focused in the 12th house (spirituality, Jupiter in the house of its ancient rulership, strong energy), Neptune (spirituality) conjunct (energy is combined with) North node (future goals); all this indicates there is a spiritual side to you, which healing has helped you to access.

Finally, since your chart is focused mostly in the bottom left you tend to use what you know about your inner world to build relationships. This ability to build relationships is of tremendous use to you as you look for a career.

And, one other note...since you say you have "...experienced a lot of loss lately ..." perhaps you need time to grieve and accept your loss FIRST before doing ANYTHING career related. Your medical talents are clear, but you need to get YOU back to being the best you you can be. And, at this time, that may require taking a "breather", pulling back, and collecting your thoughts about your losses. After you have grieved you may feel very differently about continuing the healing, nurturing, spiritual work you have been doing in the medical profession.
