Does anyone know what venus quincunx mars in synastry means? I know a guy where my venus is quincunx his mars and vice versa.

Mars (being, also action) quincunx (energy needs to be adjusted by) Venus (relationships) between you indicates in some ways you both need to adjust your actions when around each other, the better to relate with each other.
