Are there any aspects in a chart that can indicate Insanity? If so, what are they?------------------

I read Mercury square Uranus was a mad scientist type aspect lolBut I have that and I'm not insane. My thinking gets pretty weird sometimes though.. and some of the things I say, come out quite differently from the way I saw them going in my head .. lol usually I find this funny though, and my friends do as well. I get "you're so weird" remarks every so often (but in a good way heehee) IP: Logged |

Me too! I always get the "Your Weird" comments. I mean, I got that just yesterday afternoon, minding my own little business. Well, I did mess up this morning. Lol. I was half asleep, and oh...never mind. It wouldn't be appropriate....well, its not bad. Its more like, I was talking to this one junior boy, walking from our bus stop to our school, and I accidentally started talking about my shoes, and then he asked "Do you mean mine?" and of course, come on! He's got to have seen that coming. And I was like "Yeah, and they're pretty small," hehe! But then after that, I felt bad, so I was like, "No, I'm sure you're pretty big," And then I was like...holy crap. He only...laughed...nervously, and said "That was awkward." Ops? Things that that happen a lot! Well, not that particular subject, but um...when I screw up what I was saying and people give me weird looks and I blush. Giggles

strong uranus influence....haha id know...(sad)...
mix in a opposition or 2 in one's chart, and im sure it makes them come off "out there" or conflicted, or just plain nuts. i know from personal experience, sadly. heh.

Hum, thanks...Christinaeavynwarner what aspects do you have to your Mercury? Aspecting Pluto or Uranus perhaps? Not sure what makes you do that. My Mercury is conjunct Pluto and Uranus. Verbally, I can be a real 'dirty/sexy' talker. Talking dirty has always been a 'naughty' part of my makeup. Use it in fun and games. However, there is the shadow side of 'mental torture' which has appeared when I've been hurt or upset, or just feeling 'mean'. UsernameisInvalid (Shop22much) If that's the case then I'm a real nutter. But I don't think I am. Yet the other day I was told I was unique. Fascinating Huh! ------------------

Beowolf - I know what you mean about that sexy talk!! I like to be crude to shock/get attention. However it is never to be horrible....the minute I make someone uncomfortable I'm mortified. Complex eh? Don't think i got enough love or attention as a child!!------------------

I've got mercury opposition Uranus, and i totally agree, whats comming out of my mouth and whats in my head are sometimes very different. Even my thought pattern...very different from others. I get that wierd look from my friends often.
For insanity...hmmmm if you mean a clinical definition of insanity....maybe some negative neptune, pluto aspects to personal planets...throw in few 12th or 8th houses somewhere, a crazy transit or two and voila...you MIGHT get an insane person. Oh maybe look at asteroids...I'm thinking Chiron in particualr and see what it's up to.
But who knows, it could be very individual as well(how they grew up or past relationships etc.)
That's enough from me (warning: if you thought anything I said was "wierd" blame Uranus)
