Though I am a Cancer with Sag rising and a Cancer moon, and I definently have strong cancerian and sagittarian traits, I find myself feeling and acting more like a Gemini than anything else!

I have Jupiter and Mercury in Gemini and they are both in the seventh house. I also (obviously with sag rising) have Gemini ruling the seventh house. Could this explain why I feel and act much more like a Gemini than a cancer or sag? I have Mars and Venus in Leo, and I have mars, venus, sun, and moon all in the Eight house (ruled by cancer). I have sat, nep, and uranus in capricorn all in the first house.

So when just basically looking at my chart I would think that the Geminian placements weren't nearly as strong as the cancer, leo, and capricorn in my chart. But nevertheless, there is more Gemini in my personality that I would have imagined.

And just for the record I have north node in Aquarius in the third house, and pluto in scorpio in the twelfth

Well I have been thinking that perhaps I should study a bit of vedic astrology and see where that takes me.

And to answer your question: I act and feel like a Gemini in that I am very much like a Gemini woman...there are hundreds of different women all inside of me, not just one...I am a different person everyday, and not in the Cancerien moody way. I cannot stay with one topic or subject for more that 30 minutes, I have to be constantly stimulated in different ways...I talk constantly and love conversation( mostly about philosophy, which is Sagittarian) But I will talk about anything! I also have a hard time listening to people talk for longperiods of time (contrary to cancerian moon and sun traits) I like a healthy exchange between two people...I have so much going on mentally that it is really difficult for me to even put it to paper or express it in words because it is so multi-faceted and perfect in my mind. I am very quick with my mind, sometimes too quick and I don't listen enough. I am very charming and I have the ability to be whoever someone wants me to be, in that my personality is very versatile....(mot trying to sound ego-tistical)These traits seem all to me to be negative Geminit traits, or at least Geminian traits that drive me crazy. I have tried (and keep trying) to temper this in myself and turn it to my advantage.

I hope this is making sense, becuase again, my mind is spinning so fast that I can hardly articulate Thank you all for your responses and taking time to think about it. More ideas and comments are of course thoroughly welcome.

I think what you're putting most on Gemini is probably a combination of Sag and Gemini like I have. Sag and Gemini being opposites often come across as similar (as Cancer and Capricorn do).
