Just wondering...if you guys have had any experiences with either Sun conjuct Moon or Sun trine Moon in synastry. I ve had one or 2 relationships with people whos MOon conjucts my sun and it felt very "familiar" i was just wondering if this is a "past life" connection or if anyone else has ever experienced this in a relationship.>?IP: Logged |

t-bone, I have this with my Virgo. His Leo moon conjuncts my sun. It felt very uplifting right from the start. The moon reflects the light of the sun, and in a simular fashion, the moon person instinctively shines back what the sun person emits from their true self. It's like life force meets soul. Heart meets Soul. Both become endowed with the other. It's beautiful. You feel very understood and accepted in spite of your flaws if you're the sun person, and you feel very secure and emotionally supported if you're the moon person. It's a very enduring contact. The Virgo and I have been together for 10 years, but with a slight interuption in there. We broke up for a year & a half, but just couldn't adapt to life without each other. It was a cold, gray time for both of us. Like somebody turned off the sunshine. Oddly enough, this all happened when Saturn passed over my 7th house. Hmm. Anyway, I believe (at this point in time) that I'll spend the rest of my life with him. Nobody else has ever made me feel like he does... which is, just brimming over with joi-de-vivre. IP: Logged |

Oh i've been pondering the same thing since last month.
I have this aspect with a mr.aqua-his sun conj my moon + my sun conj his moon. I feel a strange magnetic pull towards him.(dont kno about him, he remains very quiet around me tho he chatters with others).------------------

Wow, EarthZephyr, both ways, huh? I have that with my best freind. We latched on to each other in grade 4 and are still like family. Her family is mine, and vise-versa. She has a very large family, though compared to me. I have an Aqua moon & Leo sun, she has a Leo moon & Aqua sun. I know of so many sun/moon couples, it's uncanny. My daughter's dad, a Virgo moon, married a Virgo sun. He's a Cancer, and his best freind for 2 decades has a Cancer moon. My uncle an Aqua moon, married my aunt, an Aqua sun. My mom, a Taurus moon, married my dad, a Taurus sun. The list goes on. Moon - Moon conjunctions are pretty powerful too. IP: Logged |

Those r awsome examples. Hope i also have somethin like that. Right now i n mr.aqua r jus friends(wot else can u expect from an aqua!). But i can feel somethin comin.
He has started behaving oddly around me n has momentarily stoped talking to me(surprise!).------------------

I have Sun trine Moon with someone I care very deeply about (my Sun trines his Moon). I definitely feel that there is a very special connection between us. He understands me like nobody else does. There's this feeling that I can be myself when I'm around him, which is really kind of magical. However, I'm not sure about how he feels, because he's the kind of person who says one thing and does the complete opposite. ------------------

I have my sun trining his moon, and my moon sextiling his sun.As far as I'm concerned...never ever met anyone like him...understood me more than I understood myself. Sometimes when we used to talk online...I'd be thinking about something, and I wasn't talking about it at all...and he would say what was in my mind. He really knew how to catch me off guard and shake me to the core. Or sometimes he would mention something that at first didn't make sense to me...but as I think about it more...I realize it was something that I would have probably needed but b/c it was soooo buried in my unconscience, I had no idea it's something that I'd like to experience. Then his sun is in my 7th house...go figure! lol I don't know how I've had an impact on him...my moon (in leo) sextiling his sun (in libra)...anyone knows how that feels? IP: Logged |

hey guys..this is not romantically related, but i have my moon conjunct my mom's sun and my sister has her moon conjunct my sun!!!! and they are both extremly close to me.. mars446 what exactly does it mean when someone's sun,etc is in any of your houses? sorry, i'm still trying to understand astrology.. A partner's sun in one of your houses impacts you through what the house represents...for ex. my friend has his sun in my 7th house, so I would see him as the ideal person for me...b/c the 7th house is the house of relationships, partnerships, etc...More on this, go to:

I would have to agree about the Sun trine or Conjunct moon.A guy that I became good friends with - but not much more - had a Sag moon, but he also had Mercury in Aries (conjuncting my moon and my Sun conjuncted his Moon). It was an instant friendship. I am with a Leo Sun / Pisces moon now and his Sun trines my Sun / Moon. My Sun squares his Moon though and at times our emotions are a bit different- yet I have a much easier time understanding a water moon (My whole family has water moons but me) that I ever did ex's that had Air or Earth moons. They say that being in similar emotional elements help. By that I mean, Air Sun / Earth moon has a better understand of each other emotionally than when we see an Air Sun and Fire moon (even if there is a sextile) I read a books that goes indepth about this- water and fire are more emotionally responsive whereas Earth and Air are more detached. My last three significant relationships took place with a Virgo / Gemini moon, Leo / Aqua Moon and then Taurus / Virgo moon. The emotional understanding I have with Mr. Leo (Pisces moon) is so refreshing. With the trine aspect, I felt an instant connection with Mr. Leo. IT was in fact, I that broke the ice one day and asked what they would be doing after the game was over. We felt so comfortable together that he had his arm around me at the place we all went to afterwards. It felt natural and has ever since. I also think it brings a better bond of trust. IP: Logged |

Sorry, but what's ur sun and moon signs, Pidaua (i hope i spelled it right)? I thought a sextile b/w a libra sun and a leo moon (synastry) would help b/c leos and libras go well...at least sun sign-wise.IP: Logged |

This is very interesting!The man who I am currently "seeing" has a Taurus sun that very closely conjuncts my Taurus moon. He has a very probable Scorpio Moon (do not know birth time) that to some degree or another trines my sun in Pisces. There is a very "fated" quality to the energy between us, like a "knowing" or most probably a past life connection. IP: Logged |

These aspects are really binding, Forget all the Venus-Pluto, Mars-Venus aspects, if you don't have at least one positive Sun-Moon connection, it won't feel quite right on the soul, emotional level.
The moon is the soul, the feelings, and the Sun is life itself, so the importance of good aspects between the two makes lots of sense. They are two basic, most intimate and personal parts of someone's whole being.
This is what one of the best European astrologers (long dead, unfortunately) says in his book about these two aspects:
"Sun - Moon aspects are the aspects of ANGELS. Easy and natural attraction starts almost instantly and is long-lasting. Sun conjunct Moon - soul harmony, easy bonding, the owner of the Sun initiates the kissing, and the Moon owner can't wait for it. They decide to get married easily. If this aspect happens to be both ways, the relationship is unbreakable. If some bad aspects break the relationship, they will renew it.
Sun - Trine moon - this is the strongly binding aspect, the temperaments are compatible, the people in this relationship often start to look alike after longer life together. In real life, and opposite to theoretical astrology, there are more happy marriages with Sun-trine Moon aspect than with Sun-Moon conjunction aspect"
He doesn't mention sextile for some reason.
I noticed with various couples, when they have a hard aspect between the Sun and Moon, after the initial attraction has passed, they start to irritate each other, they simply don't get along, especially if at the same time there is also hard Moon-moon aspect, I think it would be very hard to live together with someone like that. I had a friend who shared the square with her partner, and she would tell me, that no matter how attracted they are to each other on the physical level, it always feels like something is missing, that something being the deep emotional connection.
But if someone has a trine and the square with someone else, than I think this is still managable, just a bit of a see-saw emotionally, sometimes very good, and sometimes irritating.
When I look at someone's compatibility on a deep emotional level, I first look at the Sun-Moon, and than everything else. Moon-moon is important, too.
Lets not forget what Linda said about this in Love Signs :
"...When you find a trined, conjucted or sextiled relationship between the mutual Sun and Moon signs, plus a positive interchange of the signs on the Ascendant and the Luminaries - LOVE than takes on a DEEPER dimension. ...Love between two people whose personal auras have thus harmoniously blended creates the kind of vibration poets write about, and can manifest marvelous magic."
Even if some Uranus, or Pluto break these relationship, we will always remember the emotional intensity and depths shared with the Sun-Moon aspects, because they truly belong to ourselves, they are our most personal, inner planets.

I love the sun trine moon aspect 
I do also believe with the hard moon aspects, one would find it hard to live with the person despite the attraction. I know my sister and I have square moons (mine in virgo and hers in gemini) and while were close I would never share a house with her permanently unless necessary(financial reasons). Our living styles are just so different. I never really feel at ease with gemini mooners though.
My sister was also involved with a sag who's sun squared her sun and opposed her moon and while they were very attracted to eachother, my sister eventually got sick of him. ***This post is edited*** IP: Logged | |
