I wonder if combining the Natal Sun and Mars for guys, and combining Natal Sun and Venus for gals, would tell more about how potential mates actually see when they start to become attracted. I'm talking, this is basically a short-term feeling, first 3 months type thing.

You have to try to be a little objective, but think about this - if you read interps on Sun/Moon combo's, it may describe your or your friend's personality. But say you and another person happen to strike up a conversation. You're hoping you're coming across in a certain way, but they will see you as a Sun/Venus combo if you're female, Sun/Mars for guys.

I mean, it worked when I tried it, so try it ... find any interpretations of Natal Sun/Moon combo's out there, and read about what vibes you're putting out on those rare exciting crush times.

If this is totally confusing, feel free to ask any questions. I just know it worked for me. If I read a good Natal Sun/Moon combo interpretation on my placements, it says a lot about a lot of things, but replacing the Moon Sign with the guy's Mars, and with the gal's Venus, I think it's a lot closer to what guys have said about meeting me for the first time.

Remember, take the Sign VENUS is in for FEMALE, and take the Sign for MARS for the guys.

What makes this different from just looking at the true Sun/Moon combo is that the substitution is how we appear to others who are trying to love us, as in, BEFORE they get through to us.

AJ, other than the Sun/Venus thing, I like the idea that Venus represents "how we appear when we want to be loved".. I think it's a lot more accurate than the usual Venus descriptions which state that the planet reveals "how we love". This makes a lot more sense, so thanks!

It's interesting to me because there's Venus & Pluto who rule Libra & Scorpio which = my Pluto sign & Venus sign (a mutually receptive opposition kind of thing that goes together kinda like bread and butter in my chart. I can't really have a look at one w/o the other.) Then with Uranus thrown in as conjunct my Venus it seems to go with my Aqua Moon/Libra Sun thing. And not to mention my Libra Sun-Pluto conjunction... which is the stronger/more noticible planet today does the Sun always win out over Pluto? I think not?! I feel like at times my Sun-Pluto/Moon/Venus-Uranus are all a chorus line of energies all kickin up their legs and dancing in a circle lol! Now try to assimilate what the heck I just said

Whew...will this make any sense to me when
I read it back again later? Hmmm I shall let you know! Do excuse me, the transiting Sun is conjunct my ASC today so I'm super expressive and stuff. One might even think I was acting like a stereo-typical talkative air sign hehehe

Thanks. Yeah, I think of Venus as the "subliminal" messages you put out which attracts the people you do. The actual DOING is Mars' territory.

It's like if you have a strong Aries guy, and then he has his Mars in Cancer. The guy thinks he's coming across "all Aries-like", while the girl who admires him might be thinking, "he's such a dork, but I love him..."

For me it would be:

9-9 Sagittarius/Sagittarius
