Hello everyone!! Because I am still getting a handle on exactly WHAT Saturn will be 'doing' within my chart as it rolls into Leo...here is a great article to read through-just posted yesterday!

http://www.llewellynjournal.com/article/852

Great Author-Maria Shaw

EXCERPT:

Saturn is a teacher. He challenges us to do more with our lives. He tests us to make us stronger. Saturn’s lesson for every one may be different, it all depends on what your soul needs to learn. Usually you are given three tests over the course of the two years he visits. The first test is kind of an introduction to the problem or issue you are supposed to deal with. By the time the second test is given, you should come up with a game plan and be prepared to take action. If you have not resolved an issue, learned a karmic lesson or changed something in your life that needs changing, the third test is very difficult. You could feel overwhelmed. But Saturn is not a heavy handed, bad guy. He will reward you greatly for a job well done and lessons learned. If you meet each test and challenge that comes, there are wonderful benefits at the end of this cycle.

Read inside this article and find out what Saturn has coming for you...

Hugs-

'Zala...is that Sun Square Mars transit over LLand? The World??

Heavier vibes in the anger department are being felt for sure...nearly Everyone I have come across has been super emotional..up and down! Lots of frustration is being felt...that is the major vibe I have been receiving...shoo fly!!

Saturn in Leo will definitely throw my Leo stellium mom in for a couple of, oh, emotional tantrums, hissy fits, angry outbursts, controlling life-ruining phases?

Which will of COURSE be exactly what I was hoping for this year (sarcasm^100000 power)

Oh wait....

She goes through that without the transits anyways.

Love

Scorpio - Saturn will actually be a major blessing in your life now, especially if you have worked hard the past fourteen years and laid a solid foundation with your career. Now is the time for the big reward. You may find your dream job. It is likely that Scorpio will be given more responsibility than ever. You will have to prove yourself worthy of getting the position and then work hard for the time Saturn is in Leo and then you may rest on your laurels. Don’t you feel as if you are on the verge of a major change with your career? I know you do. It’s almost here!

awesome....saturn will be conjunct my moon and MC, and opposed to my mars, AS WELL AS square my venus, sun, and pluto..

i feel like im an unexperienced gladiator and it's go time...

"Taurus - You will be learning a great deal about your home and family. Many of you may want to move or put down roots. For others, it will be a time of responsibility to your family. There may be concern for an older parent or the need to take care of a child. On a spiritual level, this is a time to heal old family wounds and the inner child. Family First will be the motto. However, you may feel torn between career demands and your spouse and kids. So you will have to do a balancing act and change you schedule so you have the ability to spend quality time with those you love."

Well, I may kinda want to move, but the family responsibility is weighing very, very heavily on me right now. My dad is probably going to die RIGHT during my first exact Saturn Return period- how much fun is that going to be? I have to juggle my mom's emotional needs pretty much by myself at this point and it is driving me crazy. So that's where I am: standing ready to mop her off the floor when the time comes. That's what my SR is going to be all about. Whee.

jen ~

I'm sad to hear about your family's health issues..... I'm wishing you extra strength to help your mom thru your dad's passing, and extra courage for yourself (though it sounds like you have plenty already).....

Having both Saturn and Mars in my 7th house and in the sign of Leo has been interesting lately. And not to mention it's my return. Being 28 feels like such a joy at the moment. But...over the past two weeks, my lessons have become clear whereas before I was just very frustrated and confused. And had been with certain situations for almost a year now. The first lesson from Saturn very obviously was the introduction into my life of the Scorp about a year and a half ago. We tested, we pulled, we fought like mad dogs and hurt each other considerably. I had so much hurt and frustration built up from that like I had never had before. Gut-wrenching, lay on the floor from the hurt kind of pain. And all of this without technically dating...and due to the work situation, he is still in my life. The second test came about four weeks ago when I started chatting online with this guy. We really get along and talk very well. I learned his birthday and about passed out when I realized he was born on the same day and year as the previous Scorp. I couldn't figure out what the gods were trying to tell me, but I decided to go along for the ride and not fight it. Funny how the more I talk to the second Scorp, the more I understand where the first Scorp was coming from. It's teaching me to relax, to slow down, to not go over every conversation or comment with a fine tooth comb, to not always be on the defensive, to just let some things go, to realize that although sometimes my words sound okay to me they can very easily injure someone else. And also to realize that the connection that the first Scorp and I have is something that doesn't come along every day. The wake you up in the middle of the night telepathy because I can feel something is wrong with the other person kind of thing isn't something to be taken lightly. This Saturn Return is teaching me to create my boundaries while still letting someone else in and to see things from the other person's perspective. It's teaching me how to really love someone without conditions and reservations. Magically and mysteriously enough, despite all of the trials and tribulations (and there have been many between he and I), this man still very much wants to be a part of my life and even during the times when I refused to take his calls or his e-mails, would tell me every day that he missed me. He is dating someone else now, but he and I have slowly started to speak again. I am trying to not be so heavy handed with him. I don't know what the end and 3rd lesson will be from my Saturn Return, but I do know that when I finally just gave in and decide to let it take me where I was supposed to go, everything feels so much easier and lighter around me.

Your descriptions of your hard-earned wisdom are exceptional!! Do you write professionally?? Congrats on your taking your Saturn and hugging it like you have
So you have both your Saturn Return and Mars Return going on at the same time?? Have you done your Mars Return chart?? It could give you some insights about the direction of your actions for the next 18-months to 2 years.....

Zala-

Thank you for the compliment. I don't write as a job, but I have been told I have a way with words. It usually comes out much better when it is coming from my heart. You are right...I have both my Saturn return and my Mars return going on right now. So does the first Scorp magically enough. His are both in the same signs as mine and in his 7th house as well. Lessons all over the place.

I don't know how to pull, or even interpret for that matter, my Mars Return chart. Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Mars Return chart….. well I don’t know the correct way to do it, so I posted a topic but there was only one bite, which was discouraging
http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/008431.html
But there is quite a bit of discussion at Kim Falconer’s site.

This is why I thought it would be interesting to do one:

quote:
The Mars return chart indicates where and how we are energised; where the ACTION is for the following two years and so can be used in a predictive manner but more importantly it also indicates where the psychological drive and ego urges we associate with Mars can be best applied….. The Mars return chart is used as a TOOL to help in the process of making decisions - to determine whether decisions made on urges for action are likely to be valid ones and to establish the best possible use of the motivating force.
But anyway, to construct the chart I went to astro.com, set up a New Event (“Zala Mars Return”), and chose a date that was the exact degree of tMars being conj nMars. Once I got the date, I started Editing the birthtime until I got the minutes right. Just choose Natal Chart to keep checking the minutes, as the “natal” position in the Mars Return Event chart is what you want to match your actual nMars position.

Good luck & happy trails!
Zala
