What is the significance of the following:

His Vertex (Sag 13 Degrees) Conjuncts my Ascendant (Sag 13 Degrees)

His Ascendant (Cancer 27 Degrees) Conjuncts my Vertex (Cancer 27 Degrees)

Whoah. How likely is that? Are there implications. If so, what?
Any imput would be greatly appreciated. I have found very little lit on the vertex. Help out genuises.

I know nothing about the Vertex. Hmm...how do you find out where it is in your chart?

LILYGIRL, I don't know much about vertex either but I know I have seen it somewhere here indicating a strong connection.

Here is an article regarding top soulmate clues. Look to number 5 for vertex info.

Nove, you can go to astro. Click on extended charts, and then choose from the menu to add vertex, part of fortune, etc.

Oh. Lol. Mines at 21 degrees Pisces. Opposed to my Pluto, and conjunct my Mercury.

Something on Vertex...
http://groups.msn.com/HOROSCOPESCHAT/angles2.msnw

Vertex and West Point in Synastry

In synastry, Pottenger has often found one of these points in close conjunction with a personal planet or one end of an angular axis belonging to the other person, where significant binding ties are involved. This may be the Ascendant / Descendant axis, the MC / IC axis, the lunar nodal axis, or even the other person's Vertex / Anti-Vertex or East Point / West Point axis.

Henson corroborates this finding with regard to the Vertex in particular, stating that its conjunctions to an angle or planet in another person's nativity 'may help explain strong associations between people... that otherwise do not seem to be indicated, or they may reinforce those that do have other indications'. She adds that the malign influence of a malefic conjunct the Vertex in synastry can be offset by a conscious decision by the Vertex person to express towards the planet person the sign quality of his or her Anti-Vertex.

And another from Noel Tyl...

My vertex and decsendent is conjunct his jupiter and saturn.

His vertex is conjunct my south node.

His south node is conjunct my venus and mercury.

My north node is conjunct his moon.
