Glaucus, it is an act of love to come here and help people with astrology. God blessed you with gifts to help others. Isn't that awesome?? It is also an act of love for others to tell you, you are being harsh in your delivery. Whether you agree or not, people perceived it that way. Your only job now is to say "OK"..and move on. And lets be clear about this...Glaucus is a VERY valuable member of this forum I'm sure we would ALL agree. It will be the poorer without his input if that is how it stays. That is without question. Though I cannot agree with his decision myself.

Glaucus,Understand that there will be many sad people around here if/when you do leave this forum. The posts in the other topic did get rather heated, and it was not necessary. Please don't take offense, but right now you're displaying some rather negative scorpionic traits. You're reacting in anger and pushing your own self-preservation, and now acting in vengeance by threatening to leave the forum. I know you're more evolved than that. You wouldn't have helped all the people that you have, and put up so many intricate posts and responses if this wasn't something that gave you pleasure and joy. Do you really want to leave something that you enjoy so much? You will NEVER get along with everyone, and there will always be differing opinions, but you ARE respected by many on here - even those that don't always agree with you. Glaucus, I'm sorry this happened to you.
A lot of that criticism was just below the belt on you.
And it's just SAD.
And passive aggressive, to downright aggressive. And an all out arsenal of attack.
Basically, it was pretty bad.
So, I feel you on this. Maybe you can just shrug them off, and continue being you. That would definitely be a challenge for you here. Because I know how sensitive you are. Very much like my Pisces nephew and cousins. I think that will be the most powerful statement you can make. Not only to them but most importantly to yourself. So, just think about that. Challenge yourself. Dig deep.

Hey Glaucus, I can only speak from my own experiences since I don't know you, but maybe you just need to take a break, you know, pull back for a little bit. Sometimes being so engulfed in something leaves me unable to see a resolve until I step back. I've left the board a couple of times, but realized, even if there's people I don't get along with, there'll always be just as many or more people that I enjoy and that makes it worth it. So take some steps back, enjoy yourself, drink some tea, have a good time, and see if you want to come back later on. I'd personally like to see you come back, I have only been back a few days, and your astrology knowledge seems absolutely bountiful. IP: Logged |

Glaucus ~I agree with Belage and lovely*. Please sleep on your decision -- several times if necessary. You are valued and esteemed at this forum. Please don't allow a tiff with one or several to ruin this for all of us who enjoy interacting with you. The Gemini Full Moon today is squaring your natal Moon. I know from experience that whenever the tMoon squares and opposes my nMoon in Pisces, I get jittery, touchy and off-balance. You cant just leave the forum,
just because of some other person
has a different perspective.
We all know the power of your
insights and value them.
I would understand your reaction,
if everybody in this forum was
against you, or disvalue your
interpretation, insights..etc
But as you realize the situation
is not like this. You are one of
the wise people in this forum,
making precious comments for people
who need help here, adding a lot of
knowledge to our beings, and i can
certainly tell you that wise people,
or higher beings dont leave the arena,
and deprive the majority just because of
one, single person did not believe and misvalue him/her.
You should be more sure of
yourself when these kind of
attacks happen. Running away is not a
solution. Please dont do that.

Glaucus, I know you are very sensitive person but I want to stress to you that neither of those people on the other thread were attacking you, there were merely trying to help out Seven and in turn point out that you could be a little more understanding of the fact that she's still very attatched. Yes, you have contributed alot but when people are feeling sad and vulnerable they need comforting words....tough love and cold logic doesn't work in these type of situations. Perhaps this is my seventh house sun talking now but that's how I feel.I hope you realize that this was all just a big misunderstanding and that you will stay with us but if you feel you need a break then do what you need to do. Wow, sorry Glaucus. That was some ugly shiite in that thread. Hopefully you'll cool off and come back to us soon. There are plenty of us here who do enjoy reading what you have to say.
I, too, have Sun, merc, and venus in Scorpio and a Pisces Moon. Funny how we are so sensitive yet can come across as insensitive at times. Damn Full Moons!! Damn good thing I don't drink anymore either!  Come back to us soon, bro. We miss ya already!!

Yes aqua I agree...We can be oversensitive at times and yet look at our sting when it comes out.....run for cover lads..... Isnt it one of the paradoxes of the Scorpio....and arent we at times ...... dare i say it ......masters of the double standard. I guess that there are misunderstanding between Glaucus and others..
I don't know him in person.. yet I can see that he is very sensitive.. He just thought that it was necessary to give advices straight and objectively, but sometimes, it's hard for someone that is vulnerable enough to receive another reality "slap".. so that when he gets misunderstood, it might hurt him deeply..Glaucus, in my opinion, your skills as an astrologer are really good, and I really like the way that you are so objective and straight. Please have some more patience and understand that it takes some time to swallow all the truth down when it's not something others like to hear.. but I guess that since you have Pisces Moon and lotsa Neptune, you can really be sensitive to other people's feelings. ^_^ Please continue on helping others, as you have a good analyzing skill and lotsa people often needs another person like you to help them to see things without having personal feelings attached (it's hard for people to detach from their own situations). And I really admire you and your skills. Others, please understand that he was straight and objective coz I believe that he is like that as he thinks that it's the best way to help others.. I don't think that he really meant to hurt anyone, but sometimes his way of expressing might just be a bit too harsh for some (as direct truth sometimes is harsh).. and when he got misunderstood, he felt hurt and just wanted to defend himself.. and maybe since he is already tired of being misunderstood while he just wanted to help, he might have gotten a bit too carried away this time.. I know that I dunno anyone from this forum in person, but I just hope that everyone can clear the misunderstandings.. ^_^; afterall, lotsa people here are very skilled, and I've enjoyed a lot in learning in this forum, that it would be a pitty to lose someone so skilled (like Glaucus) coz of some misunderstandings from different sides.. I cant beleive its got to this again on here! Glaucus I think you are brilliant. Why should Astrological Aspects be sugar coated to make so called 'sensitive' people feel better? From a Pisces Sun Venus and Mercury. Please dont go Glaucus you give so much here and I do understand your need to rant but try to rise above the few people on here who have upset you. Venus
