My Venus Return occurs January 29, 2007.

I just finally ended a powerful relationship on 12/28/06. Nearly one year to the day when it began (12/30/05) So far, so good. I'm really wanting to break out of past patterns this year. Like many, I want to find "real love".

I'm looking for any of you to give me your insights into what this year's VR might mean for me. I'm including a link for 2007 and 2006 Venus Return, for comparison's sake. Also is there anything I should be "doing" when the VR occurs in a couple weeks? This is all new to me.

I'm no expert by any means, but I can try to interpret your chart based on what little I do know.

Your VR chart ascendant being in Cancer is a good sign; this colors your year, and you're likely to feel nurtured/loved. Happy Venus Return!!

Venus in this chart is involved in two very positive aspects:
1. The Moon is applying to trine Venus (it seems that you're on the brink of some change emotionally, and this will bring you happiness)
2. Venus applies to sextile Mars (you might meet someone, possibly through your job or in a health-related field; this person is likely to be older than you, and someone who's successful in his career)

Based on these two aspects alone, it is safe to say that you're set to have a good year as far as romantic prospects go.

Oh, I just noticed that Venus is separating from a hard aspect, an opposition with Rx Saturn - I think this represents the breakup that you just experienced. Is it possible he wants to reunite with you? On second thought, I take that back... THe breakup is also evident from the fact that Venus just changed signs. Are you feeling more spiritually inclined than before?

Thanks for responding, I hope eventually to learn how to create interpretations from aspects. I too saw the Moon & Mars aspects to Venus...just didn't know how relevant they might be. Thanks for affirming that for me

As far as that Venus sign change, is that a current transit you're speaking of? Regardless, I DEFINITELY felt a resurgence of my spirituality in the last couple weeks. Feels soooo good.

I hope you read this...

I was drawing cards for those who've asked, looking for guidance in different areas of life.

Though you have not asked, I thought to draw a card for you. The card a drew is "10th House" I don't know which area of life you might be interested in guidance in, if any, but please let me know if there's an area you're interested in, e.g., love/relationships or work/career or wealth/success and I'd be happy to provide the interpretation for you.

That is the LAST thing I want from the Universe!

I have one child, a beautiful 15 year old son, my one and only. I can not imagine going back to diapers and babysitters etc....got any other Cancer rising tidbits that might be more appropriate for a "girl" my age? LOL

Cancer is in your 11th house in your natal...

Cancer rising/11th house= maybe you make new friends(11th), associations, groups of people in your home area, and/or thru family(cancer)...

I know I'm off topic, but you've piqued my curiosity...I just pulled my solar return.

would you be kind enough to remark on it when you have the time?? I see Venus on the Taurus Asc, gotta figure that's good, no? I also see the SR actually occurs on my actual birthdate, that's not always a given, correct? Thanks!

the way I did it was to do a new chart on astro.com using a "birthdate" (for the year you're interested in) that is near to where Venus would be found in the same position it was natally. You have to find Venus' placement at the same degree/minute that you have it natally. So there's a lot of adjusting of days for the "birthdate". Once you find Venus in the natal sign, move the date around to get it close to your natal degree. Once you've found the natal degree you're looking for, play with the time/hour to get it exact and that's your Venus Return chart.

That's how I did it. Hope that's helpful to you.

It's so nice of you to draw a card for me! I was really surprised to hear you got "10th house", since this opportunity just came up at work, that I've been giving some thought to; trying to decide whether to go for it.

But then, my personal life is undergoing a lot of upheaval, which has been a bit distressing for me, so if you could give me an interpretation for relationships/love, I'd appreciate it!

The Sun in my upcoming VR is EXACTLY conjunct my natal Vertex. Is that in any way significant?

Since the Vertex is a rather sensitive point in the chart indicating events that have a 'fated' quality to them, it's safe to say that you're likely to experience something rather like that!!
