I've read that a man's mars in the 5th is an awesome sign of sexual attraction but what about the reverse? My Mars sits in HIS 5th house (cancer)

My sun and venus are in his 1st, his sun is in my 8th. I know that's supposed to be nice.

Does Mars in the 5th work either way? (his venus and mars are in my 10th)

Hello OzMeg222!
I have had my mars in someone 5th house before it was very exciting!!
It was very romantic, and we had tremendous sexual attraction.

However, he was at times a little too aggressive.

Hi Meg,

Yes, I've had personal experience of Mars in the 5th. I think with this placement, the person who has the Mars has more control over themselves in terms of physical contact. But the person whose 5th house it falls into just has no chance. He/she will want to touch the Mars person a lot, and it's very sexual. That doesn't mean the contact is not mutual though. But this contact, unlike the 8th house contact, is more playful in my experience.

I've my Mars in someone's 5th house (and theirs is in my 4th; their Venus is plump on the cusp of my 5th) and the physical attraction and chemistry is very strong even though nothing has happened, yet. At times, we just HAVE to touch each other. It's a very strong impulse.

Someone's Mars in your 1st house is similar, I think. But it's less playful, less affectionate.

Cheers,

Tara.

Hiya Ozmeg, I will type up Ronald Davison's interp for you later.

Wow, everyone's responses make so much sense. My Taurus Mars lands in this guy's 5th house, conjunct his Moon. His Scorp Mars lands in my 4th.

We're going out next Friday. Please God, be wildly generous to my Taurean Mars.

Its weird he does always seem to be touching me, even if its unintentional. He's always holding my hand or reaching out and trying to hold my hand. If we're sitting together but he can't reach my hand he'll touch my foot or my leg, even if just our toes are touching.

He's so affectionate and hes very sweet he never touches me inappropriately, even when we're in private. He's my lover but he saves THOSE kind of touches for the appropriate time.

Does my sun and venus in his 1st add to that? Also just realised his sun is in my 9th not 8th.

I think, Venus in 1st house can be a very erotic, affectionate placement. But in my experience it`s more in a sense that you find each other really beautiful and act affectionate towards each other, the soft and tender kind of eroticism; it`s not necessarthily very sexual; at least not the raw, almost primal, very physical kind of sexual attraction that I sometimes have found with Mars-Ascendant (even though this placement often lacks the emotional and affectionate exchange).

I don`t know about Mars in the 5th from own experience, but I know something about Venus in the 5th; I was just spellbound and electrified by that guy (his Venuon.s was also opposite my Uranus).
I assume Mars in the 5th can be very sexy, very strong attraction.

Yeah I think i really feel the sun-venus conjunction in our synastry and MY sun-venus in his 1st house. My sun conjuncts his asc too and we just think each other is gorgeous. I don't say it to him but he says it to me.
Words don't really mean much though, but the way we can't look at each other without smiling 'that' goofy grin is so lovely.

Sigh.

Of course, I'm guessing its my mars in his 5th and his venus square my mars that gives us some kiss a*s sexual chemistry too!
