I have heard of these before but I really do not know much about them. Are they the same and what do they signify. How can you see in a chart or charts a twin flame, what do we look for? Hope everyone is enjoying the Virgo full moon tonight  ------------------

Hi Neptunewinds,I think that twin souls and flames are the same.They signify those which were join in a previous life, and are meant to reunite this lifetime for a certain purpose. I believe we can have more than one of these, and that everyone that comes in our lives that teach us something has maybe been with us in a past life.
From my understanding when you meet your soulmate you will know because your soul will remember them, you would be drawn to them in ways thats hard to explain. The planet Saturn is involved in Karmic experiences! I've also heard sun-moon aspects to indicate possible soulmates

From what my understanding is you have one twin soul/flame who was created the same time as you and many possible soulmates. This person is a mirror, and a complement in many ways - but also polar opposite in some aspects. A lot of people seem to lump the twin flame category in with a lot of other things since there is a "fear" that some people can become fixated on "the one" and miss opportunities/relationships with other people in the meantime that keeps their soul from advancing. Or, they can live through relationships in co-dependance and forget their life purpose or developing self-love.There is also a lot of doom and gloom and misinformation out there regarding twin flames / souls which I think is a misunderstanding of their purpose. They say the relationship rarely lasts very long and may not be permanant and that your twin is rarely incarnated with you - and while I think that has been true in the past, times have changed a *great deal* and there is a lot more love and support for them to be reunited now on the planet than there ever has been before. I think there will be many such miraculous reunions in the now and future. To be reuinited with your twin soul is to have the ultimate healing process occur within you and to be exposed to the deepest parts of yourself to love and heal them, and that can be difficult for people to bear especially if they aren't highly aware of themselves and their healing process, and tend to project blame on others, so I understand why they say it is so difficult. As for if someone is going to be reunited with their twin soul, that's up to them and how well they develop and learn to love themselves. Self-love is the anchor in a twin soul relationship, and if you don't have that it will be difficult to sustain. The Twin flame doesn't complete you, you have to do that within yourself first and take responsibility for your own life and follow your own life purpose, things that bring you bliss and joy - as well as facing the pain that indicates things need healing. (twin souls are two whole souls coming together, not two halves.) The more you deal with your own "stuff" and your "Dark side" the more happy your life is in general. I would always listen to your heart about anything regardless of what others (including myself) say about it.
