So! I'm a writer...and I'm really bored. ANd have hit a point where I can't think of any bang out plots that will set me inspired and going. I get inspired by characters, not actual plots. If I think up someone who's so quirky, fabulous, and just a real "character" (no pun intended) I can run with a story from that..based on what they're like. Long story short, I make things up as I go along.
So where does astrology come in? Well, in order to build a story if i can't think of a character...sometimes, I construct a "random" chart and build off of that. Now, I created this guy named Bertram... and the chart I "pulled out of the air" for him, looked like this.
Here's the fun part (I guess). What kind of person do you think Bertram would be? Based on his chart. I saw the RIDICULOUS amount of Earth...8 frikkin planets and thought this guy would be drawn to money, acquire property etc. (I'm thinking in extremes here cuz he is a fictional character). So yea, what do you guys think?

alanabelle, hehe this is so funny to me... there are so many characters, here in LLI see him, as a man who gets up every morning with the same routine... he's eccentric, all his accomplishments and acquired material things, are part of their homes decor, with memento's to accentuate the gains... such as pictures and awards, every morning, he looks at what he as built thus far, then starts a new day, with more aspirations. ...hehe IP: Logged |

his wife, is an aspiring author...she has created characters, by penpal mail, she has created many characters, male and female... and corresponds with real pen pals, posing as one of these characters, from these inter- actions, she creates her new novel, set around the relationship that formed...she has files for each, and all the stats, even pictures from them, and ones she created for her character.. which could be people around her(hehe, they have no idea) she loves to dream outdoors, where doors open to new characters, created in her MindLOL IP: Logged |

I'm too much of a novice to give you any ideas for the character personalities themselves, but I do have an idea to write about. Since both of these characters were born in Virginia in the early 1800's, why not write something along the lines of "Karmic Past". There are always so many inquiries about karma and how one knows and relates to another here on the boards ... make one up. Do a synastry report and composite report, then create characters in "our time" who have these two characters/souls as past lives. As an FYI - Jamestown VA settlement is celebrating their 400th anniversary (in May), so maybe the couple can go to the celebration and have some sort of "been here, done that"... deja vu... Love the colonial stuff myself.

doubtingthomas, good idea! in the meanwhile, Lucilla, has gotten herself in trouble, she just received a letter today, from one of her pen pals in England. A young woman has fallen in love with her character...she has sent the letter on the day of her departure. The character Lucilla has created is of a young man with three young boys, he is a widowed farmer, and she has fallen head over heals for him. She sold everything she owned, to be with him...Oh no, what will Lucilla do, when she arrives! hehe IP: Logged |
