Yesterday was quite stressful, though certainly not of the very terrible variety.

First, at work two people were out. On top of that the workload was at least doubled. Then most of my files had troubles with them, which slowed me down and prevented me from being my usual fast self. At the end of the day, everyone who was able to stay got an hour of overtime. Toward the end my mind was just mush. I even ended up taking a third Ginko Biloba pill late yesterday.

Then, on the way home, I stopped at the grocery store to get milk, and when I got out of the store my car wouldn't start. Wouldn't even turn over. My girlfriend was nice enough to use her AAA to get me a tow. (Jumping it didn't work) I just got the word that I need a new starter, and my tilt steering column needs a bit of work ($540 on the high side). It's not a devastating blow obviously, but still not great fun.

The good things about the experience are that people get to show me their kindhearted natures. My girlfriend stayed the night last night, so she could drive me to work this morning. Also, I just happened to find out that another person (Libra) in my department lives in my city (and I found this out not even mentioning my car trouble, which makes it even more synchronistic). I asked her for a ride, and she's going to oblige, so there's a possibility I won't even have to use the bus while my car is getting fixed. Yay!

Sounds like things are starting to look up for you! That is great!!!

Mercury doesn't usually mess with me during retrograde. I'm a bit surprised by what's happened.

Well, Mercury is striking again at my work. There's tons of work, and a lot of different issues with our various machines. It could be a late one today.
