Which one do you use and why?

I generally use Placidus because it's what I *learned* astrology using. However, lately I've been dabbling back and forth. Trying to figure which is more accurate...I liked Stenudd's explanation of why he uses Equal, it made sense to me...(it's what actually made me start looking into equal more).

For those who use neither, what do you use and why?

cheers ~ 86 ..

your topic post must have triggered something here ..
i just had another look at my chart via the equal house system ..
.. from placidius to equal ..
natal Sat and Nept move from 3rd into 4th ..
natal Mars nudges from 11th into 12th ..
and Venus gets booted into 10th ..

i've always thought mars in 12th be far more accurate in my case ..
and on re-reading liz greene's take on saturn in 4th ..
the conclusion be the same .. can relate much more to that than the 3rd ..
yet to investigate 'n reflect on venus potentialy being in 10th ..
grey areas between the two make sense when i look at the aspects involved ..

the latitude for my birthplace is 32.53 south ..

( edited )

placidius seems to be popular in the uk for some reason .. ( that's in the region of 51.00 north )
