Hi everyone; I just saw a few mentions of hard Pluto/Venus aspects in synastry and I would like to know more about the opposition, both in a woman's natal chart (mine ) and in synastry. I'm really intrigued by this aspect, more than any other in my chart. Anyone that has some info or insight on this, please post or e-mail me at Dancingzootv@cs.com I'd greatly appreciate it.

Tuesday, Pluto squares usually indicate difficulties that the individual makes for themself by trying to use their power to control another. Pluto's problems arise when power is used improperly. If the individual uses their power for the good of others, and not just their own agenda, these squares can be handled much easier.

The opposition is much the same, except here its more an effort to remake the other person into their idea of who they should be rather than just to control them.

With Venus being the other planet involved, the other person is usually someone who they have a close and intimate relationship with. Pluto and Venus aspects often involve sexual relationships.

Does this help Tuesday?

Yes, in the natal chart it can indicate a desire for control in a sexual relationship-such as a boss who only dates secretaries, or a woman who only dates men of a certain age-or who feel the sexual relationship controls them. example-woman feels controlled by men-man feels used by women and has to look like a greek god all the time-
The sexual relationships are not enjoyed as much as friendships

In synastry, friendships, or working relationships work out better, but can be very productive as long as they are not romantic or sexual in nature. There can be romance, but it will never be an important part of the relationship

Example of an opposition in synastry is where the Venus pursues Pluto to make Pluto over, and idealizes the relationship, waiting and hoping. Pluto can be arrogant and vindictive when Venus is done pursuing, there is a lot of energy expended and it's not productive in a physical way. BUT this can be very productive, mentally, and eventually lead to a working relationship.
Example, Venus woman with Venus in Aries pursues Pluto in Libra man, and nothing works.

So Venus in Aries woman writes a book of poetry about Pluto in Libra man, which raises money for her projects and increases her social standing. Pluto in Libra man marries on of Venus in Aries's friends. So you see there is a mental contact, but sexually there isn't. One may even be totally unavailable, and Venus is oblivious.

I was in love with a man whose Venus squared my Pluto after progression. And he didn't chase me, he wasn't interested at all. I was the one who loved him

Also I just realized since Pluto moves VERY slowly...I would have venus-opposed aspect or inconjunct etc with many people. However who would feel this more...the pluto person?!?!?!? My current SO is pluto-rising, I would think he would feel these aspect even more??!?!? Or how about if he is Pluto rising and I am venus rising?!? Or his dominant planet is Venus??? Sorry if I am confusing!

Well the Pluto generation might agree on some general things about you..
With the opposition, you could be defined in terms like "too prudish" or "too immoral" or "unnervingly attractive" or "takes sex too seriously" or "takes sex too lightly".. etc.. It's always one extreme or the other.

People in your generation will usually have a strong reaction to your appearance.. They feel a bit unsettled by the way you look. You might be strikingly beautiful or you might just be average.. but either way there will be something about your looks (and sex-appeal) that makes these ppl (male and female).. feel a loss of power.

It won't normally cause trouble, unless you're in a situation like high school where everyone is the same age and noone can leave the premises.. so they're sort of
stuck having to see you daily lol

As you get to know people they'd primarily see and relate to your Sun/Moon/Asc.. so this whole Pluto thing.. is more of an underlying impression.. on everyone..
If you were famous or did public speaking TO your generation.. then all the aspects you have between your personal planets and Uranus/Neptune/Pluto - would surface in their public opinion of you..

Tuesday,

I have the venus opposition pluto in my natal chart and so far I haven't tried to remake anyone into what I consider the ideal. This aspect has made me distrustful, intense, loyal and determined. Some people with this aspect can be jealous and manipulative if they let their plutonian side completely dominate.

As long as you're careful about not controlling others, this aspect can be somewhat beneficial.

Question: What does pluto conjunct venus in synastry mean?
