When it comes to attraction, are you attracted to your ASC or DEC signs?

My ascendant being in Cancer...I tend to attract alot of Cancer friends(very mutual)...my descendant being in Capricorn, I seem to get Cap guys on me for some reason.

hi!

i am extra-ordinarily attracted to my dsc sign almost-boyfriend (i mean, his asc is my dsc- me sag, him gem)! never really noticed being attracted to any sagittarians that i can recall.

his moon is also conj his asc in gemini. quirky, cool and fun looking fellow with obvious cancer traits (triple cancer, as well as moon conj asc) as well. love it.

I'm Gemini rising and my boyfriend is Sagittarius rising. I once dated a Gemini Sun in university; very attracted to him at first, but when I compare some of my relationships, I really do prefer my boyfriend's ASC being on my DEC.

Anyone else have experience with this?

Actually, I have Aries rising and Libra on the descendant. I've had Libras like me, but I've never been interested in them. I'm pretty attracted to Aries men, though! But, that may also be my mars in Aries, too.

My DC is Gemini, and I tend to be attracted to Geminis and Virgos. I also just noticed that I seem to like those with Sun conjunct Mercury (I have this placement myself). As a Sag rising, I can't say I'm attracted to Sags. However I would say that Gemini risings probably hold some attraction for me - therefore their AC could conjunct my DC.

Hmm. I'm a Taurus with Scorpio moon. All the Taurus/Scorpio Gem/Sag people are in this thread. lol

My bf and I are both fire risings, air DSC's.

Yes! I am actually. I never knew I was until this year..

My Asc is - 29 Gemini
His Sun is - 24 Sagittarius.. He also has Mercury - 18 Sag and Neptune - 22 Sag.
Those planets are not actually in my 7th, but it's still the sign of my DC.

But he does have - Mars at 18' Capricorn in my 7th, on my Moon.

Thank you, Sarai, for pointing it out to us. Scorpio and Taurus are the signs I've always been attracted to the most, and it's so interesting that those signs are actually my Ascendant and Descendant.

In my ideal fantasyland, I'd date all the signs before settling down. You never know how different placements might interact with your own, so it really is a crap shoot where relationships are concerned. I am curious enough to want to know what the interaction would be like with different combinations.

I'm dating a Sag now (for almost 15 months). Her Sun is in my 7th, conjunct my Mercury. It's been good. My Saturn is opposite my Mercury, so I'm not exactly sure how that works out, but so far so good.

I agree with you. You can be in happy relationships with anyone, regardless of charts, as long as you're willing to work hard. I just find it so interesting that there are certain people whose placements connect with yours and you're just magnetically attracted to them. Someone's energy can just grab you and if one is so inclined, taking a peek at their chart can explain that connection. There are always exceptions, yes, but more or less, astrology can shed light on these things.

Well my ascendent in Virgo I do like virgo women but have never been involved with them romantically plus my south node in virgo which tells me I shouldnt be with them so its prolly a good thing.. My descendent in Pisces makes me attracted to Pisces women.. Nothing serious has ever come with pisces girls.. although they are what Im suppose to go for.. (north node in Pisces) I will find one that it works out with

Anybody by any chance have Sun in Pisces Descendent in Cancer???

My DSC is at 25 degrees Virgo conjunct my Vertex. The major part of my 7th house obviously falls into Libra. Now the funny thing is that when it comes to relationships I do find myself attracted to Virgos, while in friendships I seem to prefer Libras.

My special someone is a Cappy with Sag rising and a stellium in Virgo. My Sun exactly conjuncts his ASC, his DSC exactly conjuncts my Chiron. I also have a stellium in Sag. His Moon conjuncts my ASC in Pisces, his Saturn conjuncts my DSC.
