I'm wondering if there's anything glaringly apparent there that would make him go back and forth between being loving and affectionate and then an hour later saying to his Dad (for no good reason): "Go away. I don't like you. I only want Mommy. You're bad." Other than the fact that he's three and emotionally labile by definition. He's a very bright, analytical kid and very talkative. I guess that might be the Gemini ascendant (from the little that I know) combined with the Aquarius sun. Which makes my husband all the more shocked and upset when he switches on a dime and says things like he does. I will say that between the two of us, my husband is the only one who gives the occasional smack in the behind, because I can't bring myself to hit a child. But the "I don't like you" pronouncements are not contemporaneous with the smacking, they can come any time. IP: Logged |

I have a 3 year old, gemini sun. I don't think it's an astrology issue but worth a look. My son is just the same. His tantrums are wild at the moment and he demands his own independance, will not be told what to do!
We do not smack either, we use the naughty step or timeout but that does not seem to matter sometimes. It's like he is practising for his role in his generation's revolutionary uprising.
I think it's normal. Those little munchkins have the determinations and attitudes of teenagers sometimes.
He is probably just playing you both off.Blowing hot and cold is an Aquarius thing and that Gemini restless mind, I think he could be just experimenting with his words and the reactions he gets from them.
My son has a Sagittarius Ascendant and boy does he have energy! IP: Logged |

They are all the same. They just say it differently according to their age!
