It's been diagnosed in the lazy clinic (languishing at the end of the 0* thread) that Jupiter Conjunct Neptune is the naughty configuration responsible for my leisurely habits. It's in the first house. I've got a tattoo of a demon lying in a hammock. I never made the connection before (between astrology and tattoo, not tattoo and personality). Anyone else got any silly tattoos that could be revealing of their first house personality? IP: Logged |

My lazy @ss is showing up for this thread and I'm glad you mentioned it because I forgot to mention it in my answer to you in the lazy clinic.A client of mine has a T-square of Venus opposite Saturn and that opposition is squared by Mars. We've discovered that he's got some interesting relationship to time and time pieces, wearing a large and expensive pilot's watch even though he doesn't have much money. One day I was thinking of him all day and sent him the YouTube video for the song "As Time Goes By" He wrote me back saying that he has the melody of that song tattooed on his right arm. Once long ago I went with a guy had tatts up and down both arms. He said he was going to get one of his blood group in case he was ever in hospital. I said: how is the doctor going to find it? They'll spend half an hour reading through "Mom", "Dad" and "England" before they get to it!I was only after one thing, then I found out he had loads of  It's that Jupiter/Neptune luck. I am designing a tattoo for myself..a female demon on my foot, with smokey demon faces and the like behind/around her..and her tail wrapping around my ankle. I have Venus in Scorp in the first house..I can see how that might fit LOL  ------------------

LOL I have many tattoo's. Flowers, Fairies, Tribal and even a seahorse... I have Neptune in the first (Sag) with Uranus Conjunct my Ascendent (Scorpio) The one thing with me is I love color work.. the brighter the colors the better! But few people know I have anything on me at all. IP: Logged |

I love tattoos but with my personality I would get bored with having the same thing on my body for the rest of my life. I could see myself trying to rip it off my skin. I have done this to beauty marks. If I ever get a tattoo it would probably be this creepy worm/man body with wings I always draw. (Pluto in the first house) IP: Logged |

I have always liked them and wanted some...now I'm deffinetely sure in the future I'll get tattooed also because of my multiple scars either from surgeries or am acne that's been freaking me out for 9 years.I dream about the day when I would be able to choose semipermanent tattoos which last as long as I want them according to my mood, the duration being very very precise. For example: 2 months,6h 45' or 25 days...
Aqua Sun and Venus that squares Pluto. Pluto sextiles AC.

Definitely wouldn't get a tattoo, ever. I'm super turned off by them for the most part. Uranus conjuncts my AC in Sagittarius; and while some say that attributes to the attraction, I think on the other end of the spectrum that defines my abhorrance to branding something on myself. Uranus hates labels.
Also, I've got Saturn conjunct my AC from the 12th house. Since tattoos are pretty much in the norm now, it goes along with my fear (12th) of conformity (Saturn). I've had times when I told myself it would be cool, but then I just figured I'd (personally) be doing it more to just fit in. And once again, those are another pair of magic words Uranus hates.

I love tattoos... I really feel like getting one every time I watch Miami Ink... ...but I´m too changeable... I´m afraid I would change my mind about the pic I choose as a tattoo, WHILE I´m getting tattooed... and nowadays EVERYBODY has one, so you´re more unique if you don´t have one...

tattooes a virgo thing?? I can´t see any of my virgo friends getting any tatts any time soon...nor those with Virgo-heavy charts. Amongst my charts I see Leo or 5th house heavy charts being in the lead for tattoes. And I admire them all :-) IP: Logged |

My husband has a stellium in Virgo and he's covered in Tattoo's LOL Even though I hate what is trendy and what everyone else is doing... I was getting mine when no one around me was doing it. I also had access to them whenever I wanted and for free... The drawings were personally done for me too. It wasn't just some picture out of the tattoo books. I could careless about tattoo's now though.. I admire good work.. but other then that Eh. LOL IP: Logged |

They say strong neptunes create tattoo lovers. Maybe you'd think a positive relationship between neptune and saturn even but these are both rather outer planets.You'd think also that something like firey would like them too, not for the beauty of them but for the maschismo and the showy qualities of them. I wouldn't get one myself but I guess I do appreciate good ones but they are very rare (you might see a good one on Miami ink). But you'd think I'd be into them because: (1) I'm a member of this supposed lazy party - jup (conj Aries AC) trine nep (also conj aries).
(2) Aqu sun squ ura sco Re Virgo - virgos are funny in that they can be prudish but have a rather lascivious side underneath - it could be that in relation to tatts.
Speaking of laziness though, its really interesting that this was all raised. I oscillate between extreme laziness (jup trine nep, lib moon, Tau SN) and workaholic (pluto in 6th, Aries AC, Cap AC, Aqu sun/merc 10th)

tattoos are a Virgo way of adorning the body. Virgos dont mind the permanence of the tattoo, it fits their aesthetic, and it allows for unexpected detail in the way they like. if you're interested about an article i read about this which actually studied the signs and tattoos and piercings (some other sign liked this the most) and other body adornments ill try to dig it up IP: Logged |

Tattoos are definitely a Virgo thing (oddly enough). I have several Virgo girl friends and if they don't have a tattoo already, they want to get one. (Although, my Virgo grandmother did despise tattoos, but I think that's more a function of generation). Most of them do have discreet tattoos so they can be hidden very easily, so many people don't even know they have them. I just got my first tattoo this past year for my birthday, but I had been debating on what I've wanted for 6 years or so. I knew I'd have to like it because it's going to be there forever. It's based off of this picture:
It DOES actually have meaning behind it, but I'm not going to go into the story right now. I have a version of this on my back right shoulder, and it's kinda big, so it's not quite as discreet as my other Virgo friends' tattoos, but I can still cover it up when need be. For me it was never about the tattoo fad... I just like the idea of having something beautiful that you feel represents you on your body. It's as simple as that. As for the first house, I've got a Scorpio rising, with Jupiter and Uranus conjunct in Sagittarius, and Neptune conjunct my South Node, also in Sagittarius in the 1st house. I guess it does kind of represent where I come from for me. I'd say that my Mars in Leo and Moon in Aries in the 5th also makes me kinda flashy, so that probably also helped with my choice to get a tattoo. ------------------
