Hi Everybody,
First of all I would like to say hello to all the regulars as i have been visiting the forum 4 ages, I love astrology and it has made me understand a lot of things.
I was wondering if any of u have had a rship, not necessarily romantic, where Uranus was prominent in synastry. I met this person last year whom I very much like and even though I feel a strong connection and a sense of "fatedness", it seems we never meet, there is always "something" that makes our times togehter even more precious. Apparently Uranus is very separative in synastry and I have to say that I have a lot of Uranus aspects, including Mars SQ Uranus and Sun OPP Uranus in synastry with this very person. Any insights? Looking forward to hearing from u, Winky

Thanks! That has prompted me to look at my synastry chart with my brother, I've never bothered before. Now I know my Moon is within seconds of his Uranus. The chart makes a Cradle configurarion, which seems quite apt.

The reason I looked is that the Sun and Uranus is in major contact in several family charts. Similarly, this is reflected in our synastry charts. Just flicking through, I can see it. It just says there are a lot of independent spirited people in the family.

Maybe someone with an example of a friend/partner with more tense aspects will step up. I'll keep looking, none spring to mind as an immediate example. I have Uranus Trine my husband's Sun and Saturn, but they are in and so is my Mars, so that is a helpful influence.

After having a flick through ~

Uranus CNJ or Trine Sun or Moon crops up a lot in my friend charts. Even the Square is around in charts of people I get on well with ~ Venus and Uranus cropped up on charts of short-lived relationships when I was younger.

Put it in context of the whole chart, Winky. As an example, I have Sun SQ Pluto with my husband, not great! But we also have Mercury TR Mercury to even it out. We have good communication even if we don't always see eye-to-eye.

I have a very good friend, whose Aqua sun conj my close stellium of Mars, Merc and Jupiter in Aqua, my stellium opposes my Uranus so his sun also opposes my Uranus. His sun is a 1 deg orb opposition to my Uranus.

His Uranus trines my Pluto and squares my Venus.

We are the best of friends, and so very connected on a soul level.

I rarely see him, do not even talk to him that much. The deep connection is always there, but the times we get to be together are few and far between and always spontaneous.

Until I got used to his energy our converstaions would stimulate my mind incredibly! His sun is 1 deg orb from my Merc conj. He would get me thinking and with the Uranian energy in the mix my whole being would be electrically stimulated!

(I have tUranus on my sun now, so extream stimulation is not that hard anyway.)

I think our Uranus synastry keeps the relationship very non-traditional, stimulating, mentally and fortifying, mutually.

Without anyother more calming aspects I think heavy Uranus synastry could be almost over-stimulating to the human central nervous system.

My sun conj his Mars, Venus and Jupiter in Pisces, so this probably tones down the Uranian stimulus a bit.

Just a thought, not quite sure. Will ponder some more.

My Sun in Cancer is in exact conjunction with my "strange, E.T., detached and then very close" Aquarius' Uranus. His Uranus also opposes my Moon, my Mars is in conjunction with his Sun in Aqua. It seems that his Uranus had the power to come at me with great magnetic force while stirring up an inner tempest (Uranus/Moon opposition?). I have learned with time to just watch what is happening and let my feelings flow, be grounded and resist the urge to make erratic, eccentric emotional decisions. This Uranus transforms me.
