What aspect from your own personal experience gives you that love at first sight feeling? For me it's always been Sun trine Pluto.

If I find a woman attractive and I get "that" feeling, I know my Sun is Trine her Pluto. I has happened to me about 3 times (where I could check synastry) and it was the Sun-Pluto connection everytime.

It's like my heart skips a beat upon first sight. So what about you guys and girls? Which aspect does it for you?

------------------
Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚
Gemini Sun 24˚
Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house)
Gemini Mercury 25˚
Cancer Venus 29˚
And yes, i'm a guy!

I don't think I could fall in love at first sight.. but "lust" at first sight: venus/mars conjunction

Too bad it dies down.

pluto sun trine, i cant remember, think its the same as you, but on cafe astrology, they described it as "love-at-first-sight" but in a sexual tense way.

other ones that for me that have been close, but grow stronger eachtime you see them are venus pluto.

then lastly its between mars venus and mars pluto.

whats everyones experience with mars pluto?

I have mars trine pluto with a friend of mine with whom i was very much in love... and in lust.
Every time we talk, no exception, we hit the same topic of discussion - sex.Sex with each other mainly )).
The only time we were alone together over at my place, in the middle of the night we spent few hours talking dirty and basically talking about how we'd match in a sexual way, we had lots of fun, laughing and joking about it but we both got pretty hot after all that chatting so he had to leave
We both know we should not cross the line of friendship, but the attraction is so vivid, i can literally feel myself burning with desire of having him.I'm the pluto, he's the mars:P

I currently have the Sun trine pluto spect with a new guy that i really like. He's the sun, i'm the pluto. We also have venus pluto conjunct, i'm the venus.I don;t know about him, but i'm totally attracted to him in a romantic and sexual way.

Sun trine Uranus. We both fell in love with each other at first sight. Here's our chart. I thought he was cute when I saw his picture from a friend's album and he said he fell in love with me at first sight when he first saw me in person. Maybe you can see something else there. We also had venus-pluto.

Neptune/Venus Trine or Sextile gives it that "this was destined" feeling, especially since the circumstances just seem to "work out" in such a weird way.

I wonder, what was going on in the progressed synastry at the time you all fell in love.

Were there a conjunction, trine or opposition (orb: 2°) between

Sun - Venus
Venus - Venus
Venus - Mars
ASC - Sun
ASC - Venus
ASC - Mars

or even

Sun, Venus and Mars in conjunction / trine / opposition to Uranus, Neptune or Pluto?

(progressed - progressed, and progressed - natal).

Let's see. Here's the composite. The day we met (looking at the ephemeris for that day), Sun was in 20 deg Taurus, Moon in 14deg pisces, Mercury at 1deg Gemini, venus in 4 deg cancer, mars at 27 deg pisces, Jupiter 17 deg sag, saturn 18 deg leo, uranus at 17 deg pisces, neptune 21 deg aqua, pluto at 28 deg sag, and node at 12 deg pisces.

In a Sun trine Pluto aspect, does the Pluto person have love at first sight or is it the Sun person?

How tight are the orbs of that Sun-Pluto-trine?
Cause if they are not tight, a lot of people would share that aspect.

Someone with a natal Sun-Pluto trine would have that aspect with a LOT of people. Love at first sight has more to do with planets in houses anyway. Aspects have got more to do with interaction.

Sun conjunct Pluto with a 3 degree orb when it is operating through my 1st house. Every serious relationship that I have ever had includes this aspect. The second most common aspect is Pluto conjunct one of my Scorpio planets.

What's more is that Pluto always plays an integral part in the Davidson chart as well (i.e. always in the 1st house). Ah, the joys of being Plutonian!

------------------
Pluto conjunct Sun/ASC
Pluto sextile Mars
Pluto square MC/Juno
Pluto trine Pallas
1st House Scorpio Moon, Mercury, Venus, Uranus.

Venus-Uranus or even Moon-Uranus aspects.

GG- the reason why you like the Sun-Pluto trine is because your Moon is conj Pluto, so latently you are programmed to like the plutonic feel of a woman. Given that your Sun is in Gemini, the lady's Pluto will be in Libra and thus you get the Libran and Plutonic feel from the lady. So in effect, you are indirectly creating something like a Sun-Moon (and Pluto in your case) trine with your Sun such that the lady has her Moon replaced by an equally compatible Pluto. Hope that makes sense.

I think this is a good example as to how natal chart details can influence a person's "love at first sight".

A similar example is that I have Pluto on the DC and I have experienced the Sun-Pluto trine as well, so I might seek this synastry as well. Yes it felt amazing but I also had my Moon conj his Ura, my Venus sextile his Ura. My Ura is also in the 7th. As Roxy Music says: "But I still won't forget the thrill of it all."

Knowing myself, I'm certain love at first sight is something I never would've believed in if I hadn't experienced it myself. You don't know the person yet, and you can't love what you don't know. I guess it's more "in love" at first sight. Intense attraction, immediate familiarity, and a feeling like you're meant to have this person in your life.

darkdreamer - I looked at p.synastry when my SO and I first met, using the orbs you suggested.

p.Asc cnj n.Dsc
p.Venus trine n.Mars

Looked at the p.syn with my first love too, and we also had p.Venus trine n.Mars. In both cases, I was the n.Mars.

Jane,

so you are one of these cases that confirm WEstran`s theory perfectly.
I am proud of you. You loved to the astrological rules.

23,

greatly put. It is exactly how I see it (even having in mind that the Pluto-aspects should be tight).

With my Venus-square-Pluto I also tend to fall in love quickly if there is some Pluto-action going on.
But I suspect one Pluto-aspect to my Venus is not enough (as it is so generational; the guy would have to have some natal Pluto-aspects, too. But show me someone with hard aspects between Venus and Pluto and Mars and Pluto natally, and I am lost )

This happened once to me. His Venus and my Neptune were trine. His Venus and my Pluto were sextile. His Venus was sextile my Saturn too. Unfortunately, our Venus/Mars interactions were square.

Well, Venus-Mars-square can be pretty sizzling attraction, even though not the harmonous kind I think.

Yes I can see your problem with the generational issue and I think you are right in your analysis about need more personal Pluto contacts.

I'm similar to you and I agree with analysing aspects to provide the attraction and to see what you like in the other. I have an attraction (and often quite immediately) to people with hard aspects between Sun and Saturn. My Sun and Saturn oppose each other in my natal chart. Likewise, I have Sun square Ura so it makes for an interesting mix if the person can replicate that for me. Otherwise, I tend to attract fatally and immediately men with hard aspects between Uranus and/or Venus/Moon.

I think also important is the instant familiarity that Jane talked about. That might be things like Moon in aspect to the nodes, otherwise something like common aspects between people in their natal chart or replication of planets through 1st and 7th.

Eg, yes I'm sorry, had to do it again

Me: Mars in Gemini (which is my chart ruler). Of course Mars describes partially (with Sun) the type of man I seek.
My Mars: opp Neptune, trine Moon/Pluto, sextile Jupiter/ASC

JT: Mars in Aries (his chart ruler), his Mars aspects: trine Jupiter, trine Pluto, opp Neptune but also conj sextile Sun/Venus.

I have Moon in 7th, he has Moon in 1st. I seek a male that might be Martian in appearance (Mars sextile ASC) but also Gemini, he is a Gemini and Mars in Aries in 1st. I have Libra DC, he has Sun-Venus conj. I could go on further

I think this is a good example of the more subtle applications of synastry and what we are looking for. However, the impact on me seeing for the first was immediate, I've never been floored in my life by a picture before.

End rant

Mars-Venus square - attraction on the basis of friction. Bit like Mars-Sun square but that has a competitive element too.

23,

yes, those parallels and complimentary connections in the natals are pretty amazing.

I have a similiar thing in my synastry with Jude.

Me: Sun in Sagittarius, Venus in Capricorn
Him: Sun in Cappy, Venus in Sagittarius

Me: ASC conjunct Mars and Neptune
Him: ASC conjunct Venus and Neptune

Me: Venus square Pluto
Him: Sun square Pluto and Mars in Scorpio

As we have this ASC-ASC-conjunction and have been born in neighbour signs, most of our planets are spread in the same houses which gets repeated in the synastry

Him: Sun, Mercury, Venus and Neptune in 1st house
Me: Sun, Mercury, Venus and Neptune in 1st house
- and of course having those planets in each other`s 1st house

Him: Mars in 12th house
Me: Mars in 12th house
- synastrically Mars in each other`s 12th house

And so on, I guess you can speak of astrological familiarity here

Of course it is not really a turn off for me that my Mars is conjunct his ASC.

Yes, I think astro parallels are important. GG check to see if you have any with your women.

....and yes, Mars conj ASC. If only Mick Jagger had a smaller mouth

Mars in connection to my ASC or in 1st or 7th house in the synastric overlay seems to happen quite often, even with celebrities I like.

Yes but the problem with Mars-ASC conj is the ASC person is receptive. They'll like the attention that Mars gives to them. I think for something like "love at first sight", struck down, floored, weak at the knees, time stood still, the universe just disappeared stuff would have to be planetary synastry, both bodies have to feel it.

Mars-ASC conj still is very potent though but it's more wildcat in quality.

So would you say it is the Mars-person who is enthralled with the ASC-person?
