Hi everyone!

I have been reading this forum for a while and thanks to you guys I've learnt a lot about astrology! But I am still a newbie and would really love to get some help with interpreting this synastry. It is of myself and my boss. We were born in the same small town and we've known each other since when I was a child, but we've only been working together for two years, in the shop he owns. We have a good relationship overall, it's easily the best work experience I have had so far. Let me add that I am happily married and that I am not interested in my boss in a romantic way, but I think our relationship is much deeper and much more complicated than it looks... hopefully you guys will help me to understand more about it, and about him too, especially considering how hard he always tries not to show too much of himself.
I am very interested in that Pluto/Vertex-Moon/NN conjunction, if it should be considered even if it's out of sign orb and how it could eventually manifest.
I added a few asteroids as well because I thought their aspects could be of some interest (my Karma conjunct his Sun and his Karma trine my Sun, for instance).

Sorry for my bad English and sorry if I asked too many questions! Thanks in advance to all those who will help me.

Hi Teresa is your boss married also?

'especially considering how hard he always tries not to show too much of himself'.
asc conjunct Saturn and Mars in the 12th.
This is a very serious, cautious, responsible guy. Mars in the 12th passifies his desires and responses. If he felt any intense feeling toward you whatsoever it's more than likely he will keep it underneath hidden. Your Moon conjunct ascendant suggests you are both naturally in tune and also conjunct his Saturn you have a parental type working relationship, you take on the mother role and he takes on the paternal bread winning boss role. You complement each other very well here, a winning team that could be explored in thought...what if this transfered over to a relationship would we work like that too? Your relationship obviously brings you both alot of security, not just emotional but materially. You can count on each other to get the job done and to have that assurance is a real holding factor since your Moon, his Saturn, his ascendant, Mars and your MC are all tied together to produce a very strong, tight working relationship that you both can count on. You do well for customers too. Very nice to them, you have a nice way with people, which I feel is something he can lack. This gets even deeper as the Moon/Saturn conjunction is also your sun's ruler and his sun's (and asc)ruler conjunct. This brings a natural affinity and understanding.
His Mars/asc square your Mars/asc (mars your chart ruler) implies more of this.
IN my experience when the rulers of personal planets conjunct this shows a natural affinity which is so subtle that it's spiritual in nature and therefore there is alot of compassion here.
Your North node is in your 10th house Capricorn and I suspect you are learning much about the business from him, he is a mentor for you.

Hi Quinnie, thank you VERY much for your reply!

Yes, he is married, but things aren't going well between him and his wife. I suspect they will divorce soon.
You are right, he is a very serious person, at least when it comes to work (not sure in his private life... ahem). He's an aerial installer and he's out for the most part of the day, so I am usually on my own in the shop. I think he trusts me completely when it comes to taking care of his shop, otherwise he wouldn't leave me alone for so many hours. He is indeed a bit harsher to customer than I am, but he certainly knows how to deal with them. He always looks calm and has a lot of patience... he definitely learnt to hide his emotions very well! Although I can usually tell what mood he's in only at a glance... there are days when he still hasn't said a single word and I already know if he's feeling OK or not. I read somewhere that it could be the effect of my Moon on his first house, not sure if this is correct though. This placement should also make him feel protective of me and I think this is true also. We definitely understand each other instinctively, without having to say a thing, which at first I thought was very odd, considering how different we are. I also think our relationship is spiritual in nature, I always felt it was predestined in some way. In our composite chart, we have an exact Moon/Neptune conjunction in the ninth house, widely conjunct (5 degrees) our composite north node. Some sites say that Moon conjunct Neptune is a bad aspect to have, but I always felt that in our case it's just a confirmation that ours is a spiritual union. I am posting the composite chart, just in case you'd like to have a look and see if it confirms what you already saw in our synastry.

Thanks again, Quinnie! Your help is much appreciated.

I read before that Moon conjunct Neptune in a composite is an indicator for a soul/spiritual relationship.
What this brings is a HIGHLY platonic energy that is difficult to adjust to a sexual one! (not that I'm implying this is what you are inquiring about). I think though what does happen with Neptune aspects is somewhere along the line confusion occurs and boundaries may need to be made..... The conjunction is a fusion of the energies so any confusion should dissolve into a very receptive and compassionate energy whereby you can both read each other (like telepathy). Being in the 9th house it could possibly be inspirational for one of you, validating and allowing you to open up to new possibilities or views about the world. It's all VERY subtle though and gentle.

That definitely makes sense. I have to admit that there's some kind of physical attraction between us (but I think almost every woman on this planet would find him attractive ), but all ends there. There's no desire, at least not on my side, to make our relationship "physical". I can't tell for sure about him, at times he seems possessive, especially when there are other men around... but maybe he's just being protective.
Thank you, Quinnie!

Haha! I will!
Since you are so kind, I'm asking you one last favour, and then I promise I'll stop bugging you. I did our draco synastry and thought it was... scary. Would you mind having a look at it please? All those Pluto contacts shocked me a little...

I do not know anything about draco charts so maybe someone else can help you out with that.
What struck me though re your draco chart is one's Venus opposes the other's Neptune and the other Venus opposes one's Pluto
Plus the outer Saturn/ascendant conjunct the inner Chiron and this opposing inner Uranus... Spells DANGER to me... Confusion in love, obsession in love and explosive but not enduring.

As I say though I don't know anything about Draco charts.

Told you it was scary. I don't know... we've been working together since December 2005 and so far all went just fine. I hope I'm worrying for nothing. And I still have those barriers after all.

Thanks very much once again! I hope somebody will be able to shed some more light on our draco charts.

it looks as if this relationship is important to u both in terms of destiny, vocation or anything u want to reach on the l-term and in the way u want the outside world to see u... so many planets around the mc point to that in my opinion... but that is just speculating...
also it seems that his uniqueness touches u or viceversa in some way or the other (?)
I also see prominent aspects with mercury involved so ur attraction to each other might be intellectual, your ways of thinking seem to complement each other in some way......... rings any bells?

Hi Winky!

This relationship is certainly important as far as I'm concerned. My work experiences have always been pretty bad and this is the first time in my life that I feel satisfied with my job. Not everything is perfect, of course, but overall I can't really complain. He's a boss everyone would probably want to have, he forgives almost everything to me, even when I make silly mistakes (I have concentration issues and at times can't focus properly on what I am doing). I have been told it could be because of his Jupiter in aspect to my Venus, but the trine is a bit large so I honestly don't know. But he also gets on my nerves very often, when he's in a bad mood it's impossible to even talk to him.

I don't find him particularly "unique", just very different from me. We share very similar views about the world and about life, but our ways of dealing with things are often opposite and this can get quite frustrating. I love talking about anything, I am a very open person while, on the contrary, he is very reserved. It's like he feels he can't really trust anybody. Every time I try to start a deep conversation, he crawls into his shell, which forces me to give up.

Sun conjunct or opposite the other's Sun or Moon is common in long-term relationships,

This quote is from Jung´s work, i find it quite fitting maybe (?)

I knew that Moon opposite Sun was a good aspect to have, but I thought opposite Suns could be a bit problematic. Anyways, as I said, we have known each other since when I was born (his father and my grandfather were friends), but we got closer only in 2005, when he asked me to help him with the shop. Of course it is possible that our relationship will go on and that we will remain friends even if one day we will stop working together. I hope so, honestly.
