Does anyone have experiences with this?

I read Rob Hand uses it.

I think, it shows a very clear relation to the ASC; it`s like looking at the planets through the ASC-glasses, which resembles the definition of the houses as depicting certain areas of life, so it makes sense, theoretically.

I looked at my chart through these "whole-sign" glasses:

Planets that change houses are:

Moon in 3rd - in PL Moon is in 2nd

Venus in 2nd - instead of 1st

Mars in 1st - instead of 12th

Jupiter in 4th - instead of 3rd

Uranus in 12th - instead of 11th

Pluto in 11th - instead of 10th

Does it make more sense to me?
It`s hard to tell.

I did identify with my Moon in 2nd house; i have a great appetite, need security, am obsessed with security; I am very overweight, and the Moon in 2nd house didn`t seem to be ENOUGH sign to explain the degree of my obesity. It is unsapected except for an exact quinkunx to Saturn, who isn`t known to make you look very big.

Moon in 3rd house would make some sense, too; I tend to know what I feel just after I have been writing about it, and I have to talk, communicate, write, sing all the time. But then my Moon is in Aquarius, so communication is important for me anyway.
However, Moon in Air sign and Air house would actually explain my urge to analyze my emotions all the time, and my difficulties to just FEEL them instead of analyzing them to death.

Moon, as Ruler of 8th house in Aquarius in 3rd house:
Analyzing (Aquarius / 3rd house) emotions (Moon) to death (8th house)?

Venus in Capricorn in 1st house after Placidus:
who wouldn`t want to have a Venus in 1st house?
But since it was in a different sign than my ASC it never felt like being really a part of the 1st house anyway.

Now Venus in Capricorn in 2nd house - seems I am not loosing my 2nd house emphasis, just now it is created over Venus, not over Moon.
And this time there is a tight painful square of Venus to Pluto.
In Placidus this Venus-Pluto-square connects 1st and 10th house.
In whole sign houses it connects 2nd and 11th house, Pluto being in the 11th house.

It both makes sense, but suddenly something comes into my mind and that is, that I have always felt a huge pressure from my peergroup, which drove me inside myself, made me isolate myself from my generation for very long.
The times I encountered demonstration of power and control over me, including manipulations, violence (not the one to one kind, but the 15 to one - kind) and even some kind of sexual assaults or manipulations or some kind of psychological force regarding sexual issues in my puberty, it was in contact with large groups of "friends".
These events made me strive for very much security, because of the insecurity I learned to feel inside and the trust-issues I developed, and were a large reason for starting to overeat (to distract myself and at the same time to make myself unattractive by erecting some kind of wall, which promised some security: Venus in Capricorn in 2nd house in its negative connotation?).

Jupiter in 3rd or 4th house:
Both makes sense: I write a LOT, as you surely have noticed.
But Jupiter in the 4th house - i have also a large family, and I am very tightly connected to them all - ruler of 1st house in 4th?
I especially have a very close, complicated bond to my mother, which is a source of great support to me and yet makes it almost impossible to live my own life (ruler of 1st house in 4th house, ruler of 4th house in 1st house and both planets exactly squaring each ohter).

URanus in 11th house or 12th house:
I don`t know.
I have unusual friends, and I guess I Have some psychological restlessness, sudden insights / inspirations, which come like from a bolt out of the blue.

Uranus, ruler of 3rd house in 12th house?
Sudden (Uranus) ideas / Inspirations (3rd house) from my subconsciousness (12th house)?

also, 10th house constellations:

Placcidus:
Venus, ruler of LIbra-10th house, in Capricorn in 1st house

MErcury, ruler of Virgo-10th house, in Sagittarius in 1st house.

I am a teacher for two languages, German and Latin, and especially Latin is a very structured language. So, it would be a hit for the Virgo-10th house I guess.
Also, my parents both have high Virgo-emphasis:
Dad: Virgo ASC conjunct Saturn and trine Mercury
Mum: Virgo IC; Moon, Venus and Mars in Virgo

Hmm, within my chart it seems to make sense, the whole sign houses.

EDIT: of course the Equal system delivers similiar results as the Whole sign system in my case:

Moon: 3rd house
Venus: conjunct 2nd house cusp within 1° (from 1st house)
Mars: conjunct ASC within 2° (from 12th
house)
Jupiter: 4th house
Uranus: 11th house - different
Pluto: conjunct 11th house cusp from 11th house

So the only thing that is really different is the Uranus in 11th house (1° Scorpio)

The Venus-Pluto-square is even emphasized in Equal system, because Venus is conjunct 2nd house cusp and Pluto conjuncts 11th house cusp.

Interesting.
