I've also heard things about Moon in Pisces people finding themselves in some type of prison or institution at some time in their life?

What do you all think? Those of you who have moon in water signs, can you relate to this?

I think when the moon is in water,it does make the maternal mother or faternal father and their relation to the offspring very important.

When the moon is in the signs of cancer, scorpio or pisces, the individual tends to be extra sensitive to how they relate to their paternal parents as compared to taurus mooners and lunars in sagittarius.

This could be that the moon is powerful in a water sign and does make the individual's habitual nature and unconscious state that much more apparent to them and even others.

The moon is said to represent our subconscious state, our "conditioned" ego and our "baby" self as taught through our immediate home enviroment and upbringing.

Unlike the sun, which represents our conscious state and creative abilities embedded in our individuality, the moon is our more reactive side constructed by mental habits and our sense of security.

The moon in cancer-
It could be that the maternal and partenal figures are especially important.In some cases, if both parents were unavailable emotionally or were just not there, the individual may carry this hurt and pain for many years of their lives.They may even look for this caring/disciplinarian response from their partner.

The moon in scorpio-
It may be that it matters less that the partenal figures are there physically and emotinally for this moon, what is more relevant is how able are they(the moon person) to be connected, understood and accepted by their partenal figures on more than just a superfical basis. Most times the moon in scorpio grows up to be the "black sheep" of the family,a rebellion or non-conformist. The moon wants strong parents to ackowledge them as individuals in their own skin and not as a product of mom and dad or the "good" child.

The moon in pisces.
The paternal parents are important but their relationship with this child could prove challenging. This moon has particular difficulty expressing themselves outwardly and may express themselves inwardly thus exhibiting behavior that is "abnormal" to their parents or downright suspicious. They often can be accused of being sneaky,shady and not being upfront. This moon can often feel trapped by reality to conform to standards and thus find more illicit ways to abandon such conformity.Most of them, curiously enough , end up in prison or always have this feeling like they are prisoners within the body:Like life and all its rules are limiting who they believe themselves to be.
