Please give me input about her chart... I just looked at it for the first time last night yet I've known her for 20 years. I'm interested in what you guys think about her Sun & Moon in Cancer with Saturn in Cancer, and Aries rising with Mars in the 1st house. Her Sun & Moon interact heavily with each other & her Asc, mostly squares, oppositions & conjunctions. What does it all mean?? She has a history of sexual abuse, severe mental problems, and addiction but she's an amazing, wise person with such healing energy - energy she directs outward but rarely towards herself. I wonder if these challenges apparent in her chart are the cause of her struggles. Input anyone?? IP: Logged |

Thanks for responding More about her... well, she is 33, was an only child and is now a single mom of a wonderful 14 year old daughter. She was very close to her mother, but not so close to father which has always been a sore point for her although she is getting over that as time goes on. Her mother passed away a couple of years ago and she went through a very dark period afterwards. Since then she has been really learning about self reliance and she is doing well with it in spite of extreme financial hardships. She loves to garden and loves dogs, and she would like to find a way to utilize either of those interests in choosing a career for herself. She's really been struggling lately in regards to choosing a career and how to make it happen. This is something she & I have in common and often console each other about. She is very tall & voluptuous with beautiful facial structure and very full lips, although she has always been very insecure about her appearance. As she has gotten older she has become less introverted and really enjoys interacting with people, although she doesn't have many close friends.IP: Logged |

Just throwing an idea out here career-wise based on info you have supplied.......**Jup opp Ura **Sun opp MC **Moon opp MC A home based career, not neccessarily in her own home. If she loves dogs, then becoming involved in dog-minding for people who have gone on holiday would probably suit her. I wouldn't recommend working in her own business, but instead being employed to do this type of work. If she wanted to run her own business it would have to be a bit later in life when all the conflict of interests with Jup opp Ura had settled down with maturity.

That's interesting that you say that koiflower, because she does currently work in other people's homes, doing house cleaning. She also has actually expressed an interest in doing dogwalking or something of that sort... maybe that is a realistic route for her to pursue. Thanks for your suggestions! Can you maybe elaborate on the Jupiter opp Uranus aspect too?IP: Logged |

back again DominaOriens - had a nasty bout of flu so had to let your question sit for a few days...The Jupiter opposite Uranus in regard to your friend, is an energy that needs a sense of awareness to harness. I refer to your friend's state of mental health in answering your questions. Uranus rules Aquarius - symbolise social reform, brilliance, rebellion, electricity (nervous system, brain) Jupiter symbolises higher education, deep philosophies, luck, but if afflicted can lead to wastefulness. Not knowing your friend's background, I can only assume that she is a bright woman that is effected by the ability to make connections on life matters and that effects her mental health. Bright people can suffer depression as a result of seeing connections that other people cannot. It would probably help if she acknowleged that there are many things in our life that are beyond our control. She would do well to work on her strengths with her healing power and perhaps enrol in formal training on alternative health therapies ie, massage, aromatherapy. It's interesting that she does cleaning because that is the first thing I was going to suggest, but I thought the dog idea would suit her passion. I think there's a lot going on in her mind. As an act of self-love, she needs to do all that she can to heal the damage of addiction and abuse and then she must start planting the seeds of growth for a brighter future for herself. Her cleaning job is probably the best thing for her now. I recommend her looking into evening courses - it'll change her life. IP: Logged |

Hi koiflower, glad you're feeling better! Thanks for the insight on this topic. She has come a really long way on her personal journey of healing, and although she isn't completely there yet I agree that quality is a strength that she could apply outward as well. She has talked about nursing in the past, although I don't believe that a healing profession in such a traditional environment would be right for her. It does go to show, however, that she is striking in the right direction. Hopefully her financial situation will ease up within the next few years, and when her daughter graduates I think she may be able to go back to school.IP: Logged |
