Depending on what house system you are using, each house is governed by a sign (or two signs). So having let's say sun the 10th house, well, my tenth house is in Gemini. Your moon is in Aquarius in the 7th house. Your 7th house is goverened by Aqaurius.------------------ Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚ Gemini Sun 24˚ Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house) Gemini Mercury 25˚ Cancer Venus 29˚ And yes, i'm a guy! DepTaurus, not the same but there is some affinity there. The sign is the type of energy and the house is the area of life for that energy... (the planet is the channel - now did I say that right?). The 5th house is a part of the Leo theme and Sun is Leo's own planet, so having Sun in the 5th (Leo's own) house certainly has some affinity to the Leo approach and interests in life. IP: Logged |

No, with Sun in 5H the sun sign energy would be expressed through 5H areas.IP: Logged |

It's not the same, but I'd say it's definitely similar. It'll give you that signs flavour so to speak. I have sun, mercury and venus in the 7th house all in capricorn. People have often mistaken me for a libra and I get on very well with libra suns or libra ascendants which i think wouldnt necessarily be expected considering the square between capricorn and libra. http://thezodiac.com/room.htm This link focuses on synastry, but it discusses affinities of sign aspects and house placements etc. IP: Logged |

I wouldn't think so because the Signs and houses were only related to one another due to anatomical relationships (First house and Aries both ruling the head, Second house and Taurus both ruling the neck and shoulders, etc), not because Taurus and the Second house have signification of money or anything like that. Someone with Sol in the Fifth house would just love children and may act like a child themselves and all that Fifth house stuff, but wouldn't have the Leonine stubbornness or all that good stuff.

No because "signs" work as an energy or "how". Houses are a "where", as in what area of life the planet's energy will be focused into. There is an affinity. For example, the Sun is our self expression. In Leo, self expression would be strong, confident, and dramatic. However if the Sun is in the 10th house, you're more likely to express yourself (Sun) confidently (Leo) through your career (10th house) The Sun focusing its energy through the 10th house would add a "career and status focused self expression" to a person's individuality. Much like the energy represented by Capricorn, the sign affiliated with the 10th house. ------------------ Sagittarius AC, Sun in Scorpio, Moon in Leo IP: Logged |
