i thought this would be an important question for those since this information is general required, and we obviously don't want to let the other person know why we wan't to know.so heres a topic for people to talk about how they get this information from others, tips, and your own ways, post em! ask! and ask their mom! (but not if it's john mccain, because his mom's memory is PROBably faulty at 90+!) or rectify rectify rectify...IP: Logged |

I always ask and say I am dabbling with astrology. Or you could make up an excuse and start a conversation about the times of being born...like, I was born at night. I have superpowers. That kinda thing ------------------ "The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do. " IP: Logged |

darn, this makes my topic look silly, i never ask people, i guess this is to do with my mars virgo, but i never make it obvious i like the person of my desire. i'd never just ask them out of the blue, i do my best to manipulate the information out of them during a conversation.. lol IP: Logged |

I just ask. try to find a good moment though.now I can try a smoother approach. I tell them I found out a new co-worker was born on the same day, on the same time, (different year)... (which is true)

i just mention a birthday, or if i know there age, pretend to guess there age is gonna be 19 for example next year.then i take it on from there to "extract" the information subtly and manipulatively to hopefully make it seem like theres no motive or reason to know. IP: Logged |

I used to do silly ways like: I was born the morning and Im supposed to be an early riser, what about you?So I did the sensible thing and just asked. What time were you born? A whole different conversation based on that! I just say its for research, any more questions and I tell them. The other way is to study astology for many years and just recify, which means you dont worry on most occasions when people give you the wrong time.

or you could always come here for help with rectifying. not something i am very experienced with so i always ask for help from someone who is...of course you could always tell the story of the day you were born (in my case, i was born in the evening because my mom was desperately busy getting everyone else organized so she could go to the hospital...could've been a much earlier birth otherwise!) this opens the possibility of spontaneous sharing...!! Kick It, that was sort of how I did it to. I'd ask people if they were an "owl or a lark" and they usually answer and I ask if that corresponds with the time they were born and share that I'm most definitely an owl born at 10:13 and then they usually just divulge the information voluntarily because they feel obliged to share theirs since I shared mine. yep, thats exactly how i like to get the information from them, i do not want them to wonder what motive or reasoning i have for asking, and i would worry if they suspected astrology, coz then that would be a sign i like them. and i don't wan't a person to know i like them that way before i tell them openly. lol bloody mars in virgo.. mercuray and all.
