i.e. i am a cancer sun/scorpio moon and the boy i am sort of dating (short story: i'm moving away for a year, but as soon as I'm back we'll see...) is a cancer sun/leo moon. surprisingly, we get along very well considering our moons are square, although in a very wide orb. whenever we've been together, i've found our energies to blend in a curious manner... not sure how to describe it. it's sort like the colors turquoise and orange: they each have completely different "personalities" but are complimentary to each other.

another example would be my aries friend and i. she's a taurus mercury and i am a gemini venus. we both love the same music and can talk about anything: art, philosophy, etc. at the same time, she takes her time in making up her mind and i find it frustrating while she hates how i drastically make decisions and she's been there to save me from some of my mistakes.
