Hi A young girl I know who had some deep issues come up about her weight/appearance during this last moon in Pisces (this girl is beautiful, in sports, works out and is not "fat" thought that is how she is feeling) has been seen checking out some astro sites by her mother (my friend) and since I have blah blahed about astro often enough, her mother asked me to speak to her and I would like to start by sending her a few links. Of course, I will send astro.com... but I am thinking someone might have come across a really nice site that a young person could go to and read the current phase of the moon with brief interpts for that day etc... something simple and interesting instead of complicated looking like astro.com. She could have fun at the interesting site and then go to astro when she felt more comfortable and interested in what she was reading about. I thought you guys could help. IP: Logged |

I don't see why a teen couldn't look at the same sites adults look at?Cafe Astrology is good for beginners. IP: Logged |

Thanks for cafe astrology, of course that is a good one. And yes, of course teens can look at the same sites as adults, I do mean a "beginner" site that would have great appealing pictures that would help her remember and learn the archetypical energies relatively quickly. She has a lot of other things "on her plate" so to speak and a devoted study for years isn't what I was looking for... more of a jump start fun activity that would give her the insight that shifts in emotions and feelings are normal and everyone goes through them and the energies (like the Pisces moon a couple days ago) can create fuzzy thinking, doubt, over-active imagination... that sort of thing. Our teen forum is good, of course, but I don't share LL too often, it is my place to vent about real life when needed. I'll send her cafe and astro but those take explanation to understand and I just want something that will do the explaining so I don't have to say: Here, let me tell you what to do. I could just say: Here, this is a good site that you will like.

Oh, thank you lalalinda I like that one. I sent her the adult site and explained some and I think she will be less offended at the youthful appearance of the Kid site if I send that too now since I sent the other sites first. I am really happy about that kid's site though... that is perfect for younger kids and also perfect for all beginners. I'll probably send it to my sister and brother (both in their late twenties) for example! Thanks again!
