Hello out there... So, this transit... it's going to be rough, isn't it? Don't sugar coat it, please tell me straight. I have this big mess going on in my life, I can't make a decision, a BIG decision, and this transit is looming on the horizon..
I suppose I should figure out how to post my chart, maybe... where is that great post AG wrote for "newbies" to use photobucket? And I am not a newbie, either... ARGH. MK IP: Logged |

I'm inclined to agree with Katatonic. It's all about your attitude to Pluto and Saturn really. Instead of seeing them as the bad guys see them as helpers. Saturn wants you to see the light and become more than you are. Pluto's going to help you. Pluto's going to do it anyway so you might as well go with it rather than be dragged kicking and screaming. It might be rock and roll but afterwards you'll be a new you.Be interesting to see what houses and signs these are affecting. Don't be afraid MK. You've made some positive changes already. Not sure about the opposition, but I've been going through a pluto saturn conjunction for over a year now. It's hard to explain how it felt... on one hand it's been an extremely painful time, I pretty much learned how to get through life on as little as possible, and it's been an extremely lonely time. It's also been an amazing time, permentaly changing how I see myself. I always have a hard time trying to figure out what a transit meant for me though. I can remember what I was feeling and was was happening during it, but at the same time I had uranus right on my ascendant, so I don't know who to blame for all the craziness of the last year. Anyways the opposition is going to happen no matter what best just to let it happen and trust in the planets purpose. ------------------ Sun: gemini Moon: gemini Rising: pisces IP: Logged |

It should be fine. Not as bad as the square, and most aspects from Pluto are good due to the slow movement of the planet. Not all will be good though, but no need to worry. IP: Logged |

Kick-it - Hit the lottery last night, my friend? You are being so nice today...hhhmmm..I think tough transits are best handled with positive affirmations / visualizations and a willingness to grow. Saturn always wants us to grow and shows us where. You will come out better than you went in. The perverbial light at the end of the tunnel. I have had sometough transits too, I could have turned into a real jackass, had to change my whole attitude for my own good. I refuse to be sucked into negative thinking because that predicates negative things happening and I don't know about you, but I have certainly had enough of that. If you think it will suck, it will suck, if you think you will come out the better, you will. SO, Just try to stay positive even if it is hard to do.

Pluto has been conj my Saturn for a while now, but I havent really been paying attention to the affects because its been also conj my DSC and Uranus, and squariung my Venus. The Venus thing is the one that's really gotten my attention. It's not as crappy as Saturn square Mars, I can assure you >: IP: Logged |

I've been through the opposition (Saturn in Gemini). I don't really catalog how I come through these big transits, though.IP: Logged |

It's not necessarily a bad aspectTransiting Pluto in Sagittarius was in my 3rd house and oppose my retrograde Saturn in Gemini in 9th when I started believe in Astrology at the age of almost 28 years old. Before that,I didn't believe in Astrology to the point of thinking it was a bunch of B.S. and that genetics are far more valid. So you see that transit manifested as transformation(Pluto) of rigid(Saturn) thinking(Gemini) belief systems(9th) Pluto oppose Saturn can be good for reality checks....it can be a transit about learning to keep it real.
Pluto's intensity, transformation, psychological insight at odds with Saturn's structure, realism, rigidity, conservatism which requires a balance, cooperation to integrate and be used productively. I was interested in Mythology,Psychology and Astronomy growing up. You can actually see that I was actually being prepared for Astrology when the time was right. Transiting Uranus was conjunct my North Lunar Node in Aquarius in 5th trine my Gemini Midheaven at the time I started believing in Astrology. My Moon was also progressed in Aquarius too. I also had transiting South Lunar Node conjunct my Moon in Pisces in 6th,and I was at a psychic fair and had pastlife readings(they were focused on being spirituality, religious issues, and wanting to help others) on that day too.
another thing...I want to add. I was on leave from the Navy. I left to return to the navy the day after I started believing in Astrology. I was stationed at Diego Garcia on Chagos Island in the British Indian Ocean Territories. It was an isolated duty station that I was supposed to be there for a year. I had some problems there, especially with clash of belief systems as I got more interested in Astrology and other metaphysical things. I found fellow people that secretly believe in this stuff, but were afraid to talk about it. I wasn't though. I even did experiments on people in regards to their sunsigns, moonsigns. They even started becoming believers. There were rumors about being Wiccan. A guy approached me and told me that he heard about me being Wiccan but I am not,but he secretly believed in this stuff. I lent him a book on history of Magick that I had. I did learn how rigid people can be in their belief systems. Talking about metaphysical things could get you forced to get a psychiatric evaluation which ended well..came back to my duty station with no diagnosis but referred as odd and unusual. Long story. Overall,I learned that I wasn't right for the navy. It was a time of intense depression there too as well as lack of trust in my superiors after the forced psychiatric evaluation. I found that navy chaplains could be very narrowminded about metaphysical things.
