does this mean your planet has spice from a bit of two houses? like i have noticed astro interprets the actual house next to the one its at the end of.

e.g., my neptune is end of house 5.

Fifth House: Neptune, in the fifth house has a heavy influence on relationships, they are very romantic individuals but experiences in relationships can be chaotic and sometimes confusing. They normally have a creative talent for acting or role playing and are usually into cinemas, theatres or other performances.

Sixth House: These people are very strongly associated to their work, and feel a need to help others. They often have difficulty concentrating on repetitive jobs and in obtaining details. Sometimes they are extremely sensitive to medications, drugs and alcohol and normally are the ones to receive side effects or problems from medications due to this.

these seem to be equally accurate about me, although i haven't had a problem with medications before, i do like alcohol for some bad reasons though.

Well this is a tricky area or seems to produce conjecture. Often it is said that if a planet is within the last five degrees of a house, then it can be interpreted as if it occurred in the next house. This is especially important for planets that are in cadent houses going onto angular houses. I tend to interpret cadent house planets near the angles to the next house (ie angular houses) but don't do it for other houses. Still, it is up to you as to how you do it, nothing is right or wrong and the planet may pick up a taste from both houses (eg my Pluto in the 6th conj my DC picks up both houses).

I'm very black and white with this. No matter which degree, it's in the house it's in. Whether at 29 degrees or 0 degrees - it can only be in one house. I know that astro.com interprets planets at the end of a house in the next house, but I believe it is where it is.

in the end it matters which house system you use. i have mars at the end of the 5th house in placidus but with equal it's 5 degrees into the 6th. personally, i have issues with how my pisces mars is expressed (perhaps that's just the nature of the beast, no?) so i've never really thought about which house i feel it's in. i just state that's it's between both. i really feel more a more leo vibe than a virgo vibe from myself in general so sometimes i just say 5th.

My neptune is always interpreted in 4th house as well even though its in my 3rd.

It 1 degree away from my 4th house cusp and my moon is on my MC also opposite it near my 10th house.

I think i feel neptune in 4th more. Neptune describes my mum and my moon feels like it in 9th house rather than my 10th.

Jupiter in my second house is 4 degrees away from my 3rd house but i feel it in both houses. 2nd money and 3rd i have a HUGE family though that can also be shown by my 11th house ruler in cancer.

3rd house which is also my brother has uranus in it and my brother is an aquarius with venus in pisces (3rd house neptune) and lotsa planets in sag including mars.

So it goesa bit both ways

------------------
Sun.. Cancer

Moon.. Gemini

Mars.. Cancer

Mercury.. Cancer

Venus.. Leo

Ascendant....... Virgo

I posted a post similar to this, my Mars is at the end of the third, house, but I interpret in the 4th house, because from what I've read about 4th house Mars, its resembles myself more in the 4th house.

planets conjunct an angle are strongly influenced the affairs of the next house any way.

My Jupiter is in 3rd house conjunct the Imum Coeli(4th house cusp) with 2'58 orb. Jupiter strongly influences the affairs of 4th house. Jupiter is also my 4th house ruler with Sagittarius Imum Coeli. Therefore 4th house ruler conjunct IC,and so very strong 4th house influence overall.

If you have a planet on the cusp of the 5th/6th house, it is in the 5th house having just come from the 6th house.

Did you get that?

Because the Ascendant moves one degree every 4 minutes the house cusps change faster than the planets move forward.

Imagine your open hand as a natal chart

With it in front of you, move it clockwise (to the right) this is the direction of the Ascendant/house cusps.

With your hand still open move it counter-clockwise (to the left)
this is the direction the planets move (unless Rx)

Still don't get it?
Draw up your natal for one hour later than your actual birth.
You will see how the planets change houses.

Out Everyone

My Mars changes from the end of the 4th house, to the 5th house, depending on the time of birth I put it within 3 min. Either way, I identify with 5th house Mars like none other while 4th house Mars doesn't really ring a bell

------------------
Capricorn sun / Scorpio rising / Sagittarius moon

Mercury:: Sagittarius
Venus::Scorpio
Mars::Pisces

i kinda think both are accurate. i've got my moon in the last degree of the 4th house. while i identify SLIGHTLY more with 4th, i also feel like my 5th house moon too, and moreso as i get older.
