does the moon sign affect the appearance of someone?

i know sun sign and asc do, how about moon? can you automatically tell what someones moon sign is by looking at them?

i don't think so, i dont think my face resembles any arien moon unless some emotional expressions start happening.

i think i look like my asc & sun

I'd say only if the moon is in the 1st house or conjunct the ascendant does it effect appearance. I've found this makes sense, having 1st house planets.

I don't know. It depends on how emphasized the Moon is in your chart. Facially both my Sun and Moon signs are obvious in bone structure, eyes and eyebrows. But the ruler of my Sun sign is in the same sign as my Moon sign.. so that could be another factor.

Libralove - I guessed Leo the first time you posted pics, before I knew it was you - so I actually think you do look Leo-like, not so much Aries-like. I don't have trouble guessing Moon signs but it gets difficult when the Sun and Moon are in the same element.

Also, it's so much easier to guess when you know a few people with that particular Moon sign. I know quite a few Gemini Moons for instance. I could easily pick Gemini Moon.

I think the moon sign matters a lot. I'm a Capricorn moon and most people think I'm one. I guess it's because I'm so ambitious.

I guessed Cancer simply because you look exactly like one of my former classmates who had a Cancer Sun, Cancer rising and Leo moon. You look sensitive or emotional (but not in a bad way!)

I suppose everything we are astrologically shows up physically. Maybe not in our features, but in how we animate our features.

I recently found out that a relative I look the most like--face and body--had the same Sun/Moon combo as me (Sag/Leo). I don't know what her Asc was. I never met her, but I've been told that her personality was very different from mine. I would've expected the same Sun/Moon combo to make us similar psychologically, rather than physically. Oh astrology, just when I think I understand you.

That's a relative on my dad's side. The relative I look the most like on my mom's side was another Leo Moon (Aqua Sun). I don't know what her Asc was, either.

These are the only relatives who, when people see their pictures, w/o fail say that I look like them. I thought it was interesting that all 3 of us have a Leo moon. Clearly, the case is closed on whether the Moon can impact appearance.

I guess the stronger a planet is in our chart, the more we're likely to feel it and appear as it. My moon is in my 10th house, widely cnj (10º) my MC. It forms a minor aspect with my Asc, a quintile. It forms the most aspects in my chart. Narrow aspects with all of the outer planets, and wider aspects with my Mercury and Sun. Aspects both of my first house planets. Maybe all of that action, particularly the connection with my Asc and 1st house planets, makes it impact my appearance.
