If you let them take the lead and support them in their conquests, or simply their leadership and showmanship, then they will be the most pleasant, giving, generous people you've ever met. Leos are very giving if they like you. Plus, they are usually in high places, so they'll let you in to their privledged world.

Just don't ever think you are better than them, or that you think less of the magnificent people they are. That will get you absolutely no where, or even back a step or two.

As far as compatibilty with Aries, I'll leave that to someone else.

well for one thing, as a Leo, i can say having a sense of humor is pretty much mandatory.....we LOVE to laugh and to play....more so than work...in fact, for many of us play IS our work and our purpose for existing.....anything pleasurable, in fact

our famous egos are very fragile, so yeah, a little stroking can take you very far with us and has already been mentioned, it must be sincere (although we're gullible to insincere flattery by unscrupulous people who just want their way) .....you don't have to kiss ass, just be genuine; if you like a Leo, let him/her know it, that's all....don't fear being candid because it'll make all the difference and we appreciate honesty

beneath the exterior, many of us need to be reassured that we're loved and appreciated and some of us need this quite often....compliments let us know that our efforts are working and sometimes silence or criticism can make us feel we're not doing well enough, whatever the case may be....

it's true that we are very giving and generous towards people we like and often towards those who don't deserve it...we have giant hearts and adore touching others'

we love romance, too, very much, and often we need it as much as we do oxygen....flirting is our specialty, mainly because it combines romance, humor and ego-reinforcement!

we are easily thwarted and hurt by being ignored

very often our roars are worse than our bites, but respect is highly important to us

we can be extremely stubborn and dictatorial, but if we realize it's making us LOOK BAD, we'll do an about-face and try and smooth over any ruffled feathers, for we need to look good at all times and also need an adoring audience, so we don't want to chase anyone away for good!

as far as Aries and Leo go, a lot of my female friends have been Aries, although there's usually some kind of power struggle, since with Aries, it's usually "me first"....i don't mind listening to someone first, but if it's not reciprocated or they show Arian impatience when they're supposed to be listening to me with as much patience as i showed them, then i get upset....ditto decision-making, it's got to be fair, with one person never always dominating the other and a lot of turn-taking......other than that, i find Aries' dynamism appealing and the way they're not afraid to express themselves.....a lot of them have excellent senses of humor, too

i like how it points out the difference between the male Leo and the female

also, keep in mind that Moon signs and other chart placements do make a difference in a person's personality, therefore in overall compatibility....

for instance, on my birthday last month, i met a guy online who has the same birthday; we began messaging each other because of that and had no prior knowledge of each other.....we immediately identified with one another and quickly got to chatting.....we were saying the same things at the same time and even shared the same chat (typing) style and had a lot of laughs and a grand old time.....it was freaky, to say the least, and it looked like i'd met my soul mirror, or whatever...

until i got to chat with him a bit more and realized he's got a ton of Cancer in him, as well...his Cancer moon does not go well with my Aquarian one, and already i see clinginess, touchiness, jealousy and possessiveness that's beginning to drive me away....he displays a lot of the negative Leo qualities, although i have to be honest and also point out that in the short time that i've known him, he's known JUST how i like to be "petted"...it's clear he's going by natural instinct, but it's the same the other way around, that when i "play" with him, he too feels extremely good in a familiar way that no one else has made him feel, too....

you've got to be careful when dealing with just the Sun signs, for it's only a piece of the puzzle....i'm also a real advocate for taking a lot of time to get to know someone before taking the plunge, so to speak
