Ok, I know I don't post here very often, I am a lurker, but I just really need to get this off my chest. I have know this aqaurius guy for 10 years. I have always felt very close to him, to this day he still gives me butterflys in my stomach. Well when i first met him he was envoled with a girl, he was with her for 2 years. well i lost track of him, but we ended up being friends again, but by this time he was with girl #2. I left for seattle, was with someone for 3 1/2 years, well while i was gone he ended that relationship. but la-de-da by the time i moved home he was with girl #3. well now these 2 are engaged and have been together for about 3 years. Well thats nothing big, i have always kinda secrectly longed for him, but first and foremost I adore him as my friend. Well trouble started on july 3rd of this year, i was at a party and through a couple of drunken exchanges of flirting, he ended up kissing me. Now this is difficult, he had to leave right afterwards, but called me within minutes of leaving telling me sorry (remember he is engaged) that he trully didnt want to hurt me and, heres the kicker, that it was something he had wanted to do for awhile. we only talked for a min or two (we had way to many close personal friends of both of ours around and I didnt need his girlfriend to find out and get hurt by our drunken mistakes, i have alot of respect for her) but at the end of the call he said "i love you" and it seemed really sincere. I broke my heart, I feel likeeverything is always in our way timing, I neve knew he felt like that (although looking back he has always been very touchy with me, and no other girls that are just his friends, and I guess always saying things like "i like you...alot") I feel now that i can't trust myself around him. Sometimes I just feel the need to touch him, not in a sexual manner, but just like his arm or something. I feel more strongly for him than I have ever felt about past relationships...but alas he is taken and that is why I can't be around him. My last relationship of 3 1/2 years ended with my bf cheating on me for 5 months behind my back with my roomate, so I know how it feels, I don't want to be the other woman, but sometimes I just think bad things. is there something there between us??? help me...sorry for rambling..aqua guy: Feb 5th 1982, great falls, mt, bithtime unknown my info; june 14th, 1981, oklahoma city, ok, 4:57 am thank you all for your knowledge and advice IP: Logged |

Oh my fellow Gemini, I do not need to see your charts to know what I'm going to say: men that make you feel and think bad things are bad for you. You're a mutable air Sun, and you can't deny your nature - you are very impressionable and sensitive to the kind of people you are around - they create the "atomsphere" that you as an airy person lives in. That means it that's a healthy or polluted atomsphere, you're going to feel it. Thus good people make you feel good, secure and confidence and make you think happy, optimistic thoughts. Bad people make you feel confused, insecure, and needy and make you worry, doubt yourself and be pessismistic. Seriously, it's that simple. Geminis should avoid anyone who makes them feel needy, because we're not needy by nature. So if we become needy in a relationship, this means we're giving more than we're getting in return, and the siuation must be remedied or ended. Being a mutable sign, we're very suspectible to this, and our Gem gullability makes us even more vulnerable. It might be very wise to take a break from this guy, cold turkey, for awhile and focus on people and activities that make you feel better about yourself. I think once you've gotten about some balance within yourself again, you can be a better judge of whether this guy's worth this torture or not.  Good luck to you. IP: Logged |

Gem nymph those were some of the wisest words ive read on LL. if only i had read that like six years ago. lol. it is so simple yet so complex isnt it , the thing is theres always this one nice guy who makes me feel peachy and happy and one who is good to me but there is an uncertainty/risk there and i always go with the good but uncertain, i think it is my love for making things work and the belief that differences are awesome, becoz i thrive off of differences (9th house gem sun), but ur right that in the end the good feeling + uncertainty = doubtful confusion hesitation . i wish i had known that equation much previously. and then that second part of the equation makes me sooooo miserable that i have to pull stupid stunts to get out of the relationship. lol. one libra guy who started stalking i had to get one of my friends to tell him i died in an accident, to get him off of my back after he started torturing me, (We were never in a relationship tho), and as u can prolly tell that friend was a gem too (LOL true friend who would do anything for me, and lying comes naturally of course lol). in any case abinormal, go with ur heart but not completely remember we are cerebral creatures and not emotional ones and usually regret 100 percent emotional decisions. think it through and always do the ethical thing becoz u will be sooooooo glad in the long run, and im so proud that u even feel this strongly about the other woman thing so many women dont and jus up and snatch someone. let me tell u something that there is a man in my life who has been waiting for me all life long, through my divorce etc. same kinda thing happened with us where we couldnt be together one after another time. now we have settled for friends although he will never get married i have moevd on. but we are both glad, he is in a healthy relationship and i am looking lol. and we are great freinds. i dont know what u are going to do with this aqua, dont blame him, coz we can be the same way . but dont fall for him or give him 2 much sympathy either. act like the friend u always were. Gem and aqua are 2 sides of the same coin and we can be best friends forever, and friendship is more beautiful than love in its manifestations, or so believe aquas, AND gems.  Love to u Love

Thank you guys for the replies. it helps hearing someone else sometimes telling you to kinda hold back. Sometimes I think I try to rush into things, and specially since i have had strong feelings for him for so long. But as always friends first and foremost.IP: Logged |
