I was just responding to separate thread here and made the following offer to the person who started it:

I've been studying tarot for over 2 years and am a collector of decks--both tarot and angel. My friends tell me I'm very, very good...but then again, I KNOW my friends's lives inside and out so it's hard to know if I'm really intuiting the situations or THEM. That said, the teachers I've had have all told me right off the bat that I've got "the gift" and one well respected medium here where I live told me that I was "steppinging into the master teacher role" and would be doing this kind of work for a living one day. I've always been intuitive--even as a child--but as this medium said herself, I never really knew what to do with it, and as it's been developing/evolving/strengthing over the past few years I've been alternately nervous about sharing it ("won't people think I'm nuts" syndrome)and being really excited about embracing it.

But...although I opened a "virtual office" on one of the psychic websites last summer, I never once made myself available for clients--I just never felt ready--and so I just closed that "office" yesterday. That said, it's really funny I'm reading this thread today because even as I was closing the office, the thought occurred to me to offer to do some readings for some folks here--free of charge of course--just to see if I can get my 'psychic legs', if you will, under me and gain a little more confidence.

I can't make any promises, and again, I admit, though I've been intuitive all my life, and have lots of actual tools (decks/pendulums etc) at the ready...I'd be completely arrogant to view myself as anything other than a beginner at most.

Still, if you're interested, I'm happy to give it a go for you.

So would you lovely ladies (oops...I'm assuming, ladies...apologies if I'm actually in the company of gents! :smile Anyway...would you lovely SOULS prefer a tarot reading or an angel reading? Also, would you like a particular question addressed or just a general snapshot?

This is cool...I'm pleased to have a reason to set my OWN issues aside for a while, you know? MY story's getting pretty boring to ME now, so I think I need a break from it, LOL!!

Love the Waite deck in any derivation so I'm psyched!

For me...well...as much as I'm always wanting to know what's going on with the pretend Libra/mostly scorp with whom I'm madly in love...I've been trying not to dwell too much on that in my readings and instead letting the Universe tell me what It most wants for me to know! That said...if it wants to tell me about LOVE...so much the better!!! LOL

For those of you looking for specifically love-related readings, I've got to say the original Lovers Tarot (which is just the major arcana)is amazing, as are the Cards of Love and the Love Pack. For love questions, those are probably my favorites. The angel/goddess decks are wonderful for ANY question/issue, including love/soulmate stuff. I couldn't part with any of those decks.

Anyway...that's a sampling of my collection. Thought I'd put it out there because if you have an affinity for something particular (like eastern philosophy, native american culture, or like me--anything related to dolphins and the sea...then maybe one of those decks would be a better choice for you.) Just a thought!

I've just poured myself a glass of shiraz and am about to get busy! This should be fun for me so thanks for letting me "play!"

Oh, also, before I forget...if any of you are not comfortable with me sharing the details of your reading here, let me know if there's a separate email address to which you'd rather have it sent. Otherwise, I'll assume it's ok to post it here.

I would love a reading when ever you are free.....just a general one would be great....and if I can do anything in return....pick a love oracle card, or send reiki maybe, would be pleased to oblige.

I hope to get to everyone in as little time possible. Will be up for a bit longer tonight (and don't worry...I promise I won't be hitting the shiraz too hard! LOL) and will get back to it tomorrow night after work.

PS. Just a side not about the wine...I swear to you I really don't make a habit out of this! I'm actually quite a tea-toteler but bought the bottle for myself as a treat almost a month ago and finally decided to open it tonight. I'll probably have it for at least another month now!! LOL Anyway, I only say that, not because I think anyone's judging me...but because ordinarily I think conventional wisdom would suggest that in order to remain the clearest of channels, one should be clear of mind--which is to say...alcohol free--LOL! That said...nursing this little bit of it IS relaxing and that may just help me open even more!!!

In any case...please be assured that I AM keeping track of who'd like a reading, and if I don't get to yours in the next day (or even two) please don't think I've forgotten!! The good news is that we lucky teachers have a short week this week so I'll have some extra free time over the holiday to devote to this little project!!

If you get the time, I am working on a project that I love...am I doing the right thing? A little 3 carder would be nice. Rider-Waite please Do not soften the results for me, I can take it..hehehe.
