This forum seems to get clogged up with the negative quite often so I thought I'd start a little thread about the sweet and romantic things that our loved ones have done for us. Or us for them, for that matter!So come on, share your stories. I know every single person here is a hopeless romantic- you wouldn't be here if you weren't! My favourite story is something very sweet my pisces-boy did a few months ago. He is so shy and subtle that I usually think the things he does to show me he cares are mere coincidence and wishful thinking, until he confesses it was intentional. I was at my best friend's place one night (he lives next door) and it was late. Pisces-boy and I hadn't seen or spoken to one another for a while and had left things kinda on a sour note. His Mum came home from the pub and was talking and laughing in the street with some friends of her daughters.
It was so funny, my best friend and I sat out on the verandah having a smoke and a giggle at them carrying on. Pisces-boy and his mates came home long after.
Suddenly some music came blaring out, one of my favourite bands (he knows this) one of my favourite songs (he didn't know that). Not the whole song, it was turned loud just before the chorus. I love this song though so I'm posting all the lyrics. The bits he played for me are in quotation marks. There's a truth begging to be told as the blues grab and take a hold

And I just can't believe when I wake up that you could be gone  Not a huge gesture, in fact for months I thought it was coincidental, when I was in fantasy land I beleived he'd played it just for me, in reality I never really thought it could've been true.
It was something so personal and perfect for me, to me that means more than the hugest bouquet of flowers or expensive jewellery. It means he understands and appreciates who I am, which is the most important thing. OK! Someone elses turn! IP: Logged |

This caught my attention because a) am incurable romantic and b) you mentioned Pisces Boy!My first boyfriend was a Pisces Boy and we were together for five years from 13 - 18, one of the cutest things he used to do was this, he used to do a paper round in the early morning while I (lazy libran) was still sleeping and if we'd had an argument the night before I would wake up to find a 'sorry - I still love you note' on the doormat - even when the argument wasn't wasn't his fault. *sigh*

Awww, that's so gorgeous! I think this forum needs more sweet tales like that here, I'm sick of the negativity (although I've been guilty of it too)So come on! Where are they all??? IP: Logged |

It was around Christmas time, I was hugely pregnant and felt it. I was complaining that I had lost one of the twisty balls off of my right earring and complaining about how exspensive they were not really thinking that Mr. Taurus cared or was even paying attention. One day about a week before the 25th I got a package in the mail and in it was 2 new pairs of the earrings I had been complaining about.
Not only had he paid attention and cared but he replaced them.
When I said just that to him, he just said (in his typical patient fashion)"I listen to everything you say."

Okay, I probably have a lot, but I can't think of many right now, so here's one:My Aquarian's in the army so whenever we see each other we (obviously) say good bye, but the last time he visited we had to say good-bye at my school (a SUPER strict Christian school) so we were kinda awkward and barely even hugged each other, even though I MIGHT not see him again for a month and a half. Anyway, since it was awkward, we both forgot to say I love you, so that night when I got home he'd sent me an email saying "I realized as soon as I left, so I just wanted to say it again. Does it count if it was me doing the sweet romantic gesture for a guy? I did tons of things for that aweful Virgo I was in love with years ago. ------------------

Hey kudos to you OzMeg22 for starting this post...your right, we do need to let the fresh breezes of positivity flow through this forum  I particularily need to focus on the positive cuz my love and I recently hit a little 'bump in the road'A few weeks ago my Gemini/Pisces rising beloved's mom flew into town and I went out to dinner with them so I could meet her (for the first time). It was a wonderful evening and when he and his mother left it was with lots of hugging and smiles. But in our nervousness he hadn't told me he loved me when saying goodbye...five minutes later he was back knocking on my door just to tell me he loved me... Also, once while I was rehearsing at my dance studio, he drove by and left a napkin on my windshield that had a love note written on it... Once I left my history textbook at his apartment and didn't have it for a few days. When I finally got it back and opened it up there was a note saying "your the love of my life" inside... These are just a few of the many things he has done to prove his love to me in subtle ways... There are more subtle things as well. The last couple of days have been dark and challenging for me, and I have had doubts about the relationship...As a result he has been particularily attentive and considerate in his actions and words. I could tell that every word of his has been carefully weighed before spoken to make sure I was comfortable. Just last night his friend was in his room playing video games. We were in the kitchen and having a moment of 'confrontation' you might say. He apologized to me for something he did and I accepted the apology as gracefully as possible. He then walked around the kitchen counter and told me to come close to him. He held me in his arms and began kissing me very tenderly and passionately...then his roomate started yelling through the door about how exciting the game was. Usually we would have broken our kiss and started laughing at his friend and I made the move to do just that. But he kept kissing me, regardless of the circumstances and with so much feeling that I don't think I've ever been kissed so sweetly before in my life. Wow this post is a lot longer than I planned on making it! It feels good to focus on the beautiful moments of our relationship rather than the ugly ones TMC IP: Logged |

Wait... I have one memory of a guy doing something sweet for me. This was about 9 years ago though, and I was working at this medical office at the time when this guy did something nice. It was a pisces guy that I met at a bus stop, our attraction was instant and we immediately started seeing each other. He knew I really didn't like my job, even if I never vocalized it he sensed I was unhappy. It was a Friday and close to lunch time at my work, I was gathering my purse and coat and getting ready to walk out the door when one of the new front desk ladies came quickly over to me and asked "Are you Monica". I was like "Yeah why". And she walked over behind desk panel, and pulled out a small vase of roses. She handed them to me, and I was like who the heck would send me flowers, I pulled out the attached card and it read "To make your day alittle brighter and sweeter, I love you my darling". And of course it was signed by my Pisces guy(they are very romantic). I know that isn't much to brag about and you other girls have better memories of men courting you, but it was a big deal to me at the time ------------------

OMG! TMC, those are all so sweet! ^_^ EEK! I love reading these... and that is sweet, LibrasChoice... and WOW you have a lot of Cancer! And small gestures are what count. ^_^ I have a new thing to post, btw! Thursday my darling Aquarian just randomly decided to call me during lunch and since I didn't have my phone on, he left a message saying, "Hey Sweetheart, just wanted to say I love you!" *sigh* He is so wonderful... also, he and I do the same thing! Throughout the day we both randomly say "I love you" even though we're separated right now... but I didn't know he also did that until he told me a few days ago. Another random thing is that on MySpace he posts the sweetest songs, like "I don't Wanna Miss a Thing" and "Here Without You..." <3 Just sharing... hopefully there are more to come for all of us! ^_~ Take care everyone!
