I know there's not set group of astrtological indicators for twin souls, and each union is suppsoedly unique, so likewise teh astrological factors.But I was wondering if there was any indication that Uranus plays a significant role in twin soul unions? What do you think? I have noticed these parallels between Uranus contacts in synastry and what is often said of twin soul meetings: 1. meetings of the two people tend to be unusual or unespected, and there's a suddenness and "electricity" to the attraction between them 2. relationship has an unusual intensity that may be difficult for others to understand 3. (when Uranus contact are harmonious) the relationship seems like the two people are perpetually falling in love with each other, or the reletoinship seems to never grow stale or dull 4. the couple together often seeks to make the world a better place 5. the couple may experience a heightened sense of consciousness and purpose 6. sex is "otherworldly"  IP: Logged |

I've read this... are you speaking of Venus-Uranus aspects specifically? I think that is what this would refer to? I have a Venus-Uranus trine with the suspected soul-mate/twin flame. I've also read of Neptune contacts being another indicator? This was off Dr. Z's soulmate clues. IP: Logged |

Yeah Uranus-Venus, but also Uranus-Sun and maybe Uranus-Mars.I know Neptune's pointed to for soul mate connetions, but I was wondering if Uranus has something to do with taking a soul mate connection up a notch, to that twin flame realm. This last guy I was interested in, we had double whammy Sun-Uranus aspects (conjunction, trine), plus my Uranus aspecetd both his Venus (trine) and his Mars (conjunction). We had Neptune too, my Neptune sextiles his Sun adn trine his Mars and his Neptune formed an air grand trine with my Aqua Mars/NN and my Gem Mercury (so DW Mars-neptune aspects too). We called it off, and I think for right now, that's the right thing. I don't know if he's my soul mate or even twin flame - I'm nto sure I even believe in twin flames. I just get the feeling this isn't the end for us somehow. IP: Logged |

I get this totally and I do believe there is a linkn btween soulmate/twin souls with Uranus being involved.Quote:

Ooooh, I suppose, since this is in Scoprio, Uranus inspires the creativiy of Mercury or get Mercury to think outside its usual pattern of habits. This could be very beneficial for the mercury person. The Uranus person will take a lot of enjoyment in bringing a broader horizon to the Mercury person.On the down side, there could be some nervous energy with this, and Mercury may feel "off balanced" a lot with Uranus, either in a good way or a bad way, maybe a little of both in this case (blame Scorpio's moodiness). Mercury may need to take breaks away from Uranus, or Uranus' intensity may prove too tedious and tiring in the long run. Scorpio is a sign of extermes and may not no where to draw boundaries - this could be problem with this aspect. Mercury needs inspiration, not oppression, and Uranus unchecked can become as oppressive as Saturn. This couple needs to find a balance here to gett he best of this aspect. IP: Logged |

Gem.. I think you may be on to something  I feel I have a soul mate union with someone whos Uranus conjuncts my Sun and Merc. (less than a degree) and Venus (wider)
We also have Sun conjunct Neptune and Pluto conjunct Venus.. so its thrilling but some crap gets in the way... often one is unavailable and the there is Moon square Uranus and Saturn that kinda made the whole thing stink!...So I don't know..

What about Uranus/Pluto aspects??? I see in my composite chart with my Soul/Mate his Uranus sits on my Pluto and my Uranus sits on his..Thats interesting. Those are both strong planets. IP: Logged |

There are several harmonious Uranus and Pluto aspects between me and Mr Gem. Mostly my Uranus and Pluto aspecting his planets. And a few harmonious Neptune aspects as well. IP: Logged |

This is really interesting... I do wonder if there's significance in Uranus in relation to Soul Mates, 'cause when I met the man I've been... attracted to is the best term, I guess, for two and a half years there was something electical and shocking about it. It was just a brief eye contact and I felt like I saw into his very soul... But his Uranus is in Sagittarius and mine is in Capricorn, so I don't know what effect that would have. Let's see, in our composite chart it's in Capricorn, 12th house... any significance? Anyway, I'll try to check up on this post again later. Thanks for sharing your insight!IP: Logged |

Hi to allIve red the posts about all those contacts between those specifically planets. And me and my partner , we have the aspects: venus opposes moon/his venus trine my moon;
our uranos conjunts
his uranos contacts my sun,moon,mercury,venus,mars,jupiter,saturn,uranus,chiron,AC and MC.
hIS neptune contacts my moon,mercury,venus,mars ( conjunts my neptune), pluto, node,chiron,and PF.
we´ve got many DW on our sinastry Does this means that we´ve got any karmic link or possible soul mate connections? Really it´s true that we met in unusual situation ( online) and we´ve had that spark instantaneaously.
Relating to Dr Z´s clues we fit them all ( but not the last one) I´de be very gratefull if someone could give me some "knowledge" about this Kiss to all IP: Logged |

Out of vague curiosity awhile ago, I created (through astrodienst) a first meeting chart for me & mine, tUranus was exact opposite his nUranus & conjunct my natal moon, tJupiter conj his nPluto, tPluto square my nPluto, almost every satellite was touching our natal planets. So yep the Uranus opposition combined with a Pluto square...The points you outlined in your initial post are applicable to us, our initial meeting and attraction was unexpected, sudden and electric, (he told me, "I want to be your friend for a very long time"---yep I thought "OMG a stalker"...) our relationship is never dull, we seek to make our world better, our conciousness has been heightened through each other.... It's taken a couple of years for us to decide "hey you could be the one" toward each other (I blame his Aqua sun  ....I knew it long time ago ) initially I thought he may be my "twin" in another life...like a brother or sister or something...we have the same scars on our bodies, we think the same (yet come from very different backgrounds..including countries)...we have complimentary interests, he likes taking photos, I like looking at photos ...hahha...we have similar attitudes and ideals....we say exactly the same thing...at the same time... Sooo after all that, I believe Uranus contacts ARE "surprising and magnetic" in synastry, I'm not sure about the "twin soul" concept, as I believe, we as individuals are a WHOLE person, and don't need anything/one to complete the picture, but it's a nice idea IP: Logged |
